"Reviews mentioned rooms were tired. I agree but it did not affect us having a lovely holiday.
Food was fantastic.
Dont drink tap water, hotel provides plenty of bottles.
Staff were super friendly and humble. Always with a smile.
Breakfast was great but needed to queue a little each morning.
Its very humid, but the room's air co was good.

"The place needs a major renovation. The floor of our room was squeaky, we were on the top level & we can hear noise from the roof. The pool area is poorly maintained, the deck needs to be replaced, lounge chairs were in bad shape. We ordered in room service. The pasta was undercooked & we were served with a frozen pizza. This comes down to the owner and upper management, nothing to do with the staff as they were amazing & helpful."
"Unfortunately, this was the biggest disappointment of our Southeast Asia trip. We stayed at seven different resorts, and despite being the most expensive, this was easily the worst overall experience.

"Had the most amazing stay at Sola a few weeks ago!! The hotel is beautiful and well kept. Service was fantastic (thorough clean of rooms daily, helpful and attentive workers, lovely coffee and breakfast by the pool included each day). Shower pressure was great and nice enclosed bathroom.
