"The Squirrels is in a great location especially if you have a dog. The grounds are absolutely beautiful.The place is clean and all very neat. But very limited on space. It’s is what it is a Shepards hut!!! A must if you are in the area is the Tin Roof Cafe entrance is in the garden centre on the main road to Danbury. Also The Cricketers in Danbury their food is amazing especially Sunday roast it’s a must."

"The owners were very welcoming and accommodating. We had everything we needed. Location is peaceful and idyllic on the lake and is really easy to get to. We felt safe and secure behind the gates. The bed was super comfortable and the house was super clean. "Wonderfully rustic property in a brilliant location. Hosts were gracious and welcoming and made sure we were settled. Local White Horse pub (minutes away, walkable if you're feeling energetic) is a must for their housemade pizza and in-house brewery. Great weekend getaway ... highly recommended."

"Very nice quaint cottage everything you need for a comfortable stay. Bed very comfy. The only downside for me was the very steep narrow stairs but were manageable. The owner was very nice and helpful lovely breakfast basket left in the kitchen with bacon eggs tomatoes bread butter and milk. A fire made in the grate just needed lighting. I had a very pleasant stay would definitely stay there again."
