My room was fine but my daughter and her family were up all night because of a party going on in the room next door. They asked for a different room and were told the hotel was sold out (this was on Thursday night). They asked for security to come up at midnight to ask the guests to lower the volume. The front desk said they would need to come downstairs for any complaints. So they went downstairs (after having to get up and get dressed). They were told that security would be up to address the noise problem. They didn’t come up for another HOUR.

Charming rustic hotel
Interesting to see a place so suited to its setting (small town in a forest). All the furniture was hand hewn from wood imported from India, the owner makes and sells wooden shoes as well and you can see part of the process in the breakfast shop. The food was excellent, the rooms charmingly rustic ...
