"Very good location, just steps from Interlaken West Station. Prices are lower than most of other hotels in the area. Large bathtub, water pressure was good, temperature was excellently. Buffet breakfast was OK. Very limited room amenities, no fridge, no kettle, no bottle water, no coffee/tea, no clock, no power outlet near bedside tables. Garbage can only in bathroom. Bathroom no counter space, no shelf space, no cloth hook - the only hook had be used for garbages and hairdryer. Worn-out wallpaper. Poor wifi connectivity. Only 24 in tv. Perfect for travellers who only want a hot shower, a warm bed and a filling breakfast."

"The breakfast is really good but the room and hotel itself is outdated. This hotel is located at a top of a hill in wilderswil so each day we had to walk on an upward hill for 10-15 mins. They do not offer pick up shuttle which I think would’ve made our experience a lot more enjoyable. If we had known, we would have not booked as it’s very far from the closest bus stop and scary at night. Our room (deluxe premium) did NOT have air conditioning so please be aware before booking."

"I booked a standard room for two. What exactly is a standard, expensive room in a 4-star hotel like? It's small, but that's not the most important thing. One side of the bed is practically pushed up against the wall with the window. That means there's no access to the bed from one side, not to mention a bedside table where it would be nice to put a phone, water, or anything else. And if you need to get out of bed at night for any reason, you'll have to climb over the person next to you or get up together. We didn't even bother considering the other "perks" of this room. Such rooms are supposed to be for single occupants, not for a couple. When we expressed all this at the reception desk and asked to change to another room, we were assured that all standard rooms are like this, and if we wanted something different, we'd have to pay extra, which we did, as it was impossible to stay in such a room. The room we got was a little larger, and thankfully the bed was accessible from both sides, but it didn't have anything other than a coffee maker to qualify as a 4-star hotel. On the plus side, the hotel is very well located, in the center and close to the train station. Breakfasts were decent. If anyone does decide to book it, they'd be looking for a room other than the standard room, but I'm sure you can find a much better hotel."
