Beautiful and charming
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay over Christmas and we really felt like we were important guests. We were very warmly welcomed with cookies and other snacks. Home was immaculate and well maintained. We loved it!

Has everything you would need and more
This rental had everything you could want and more. Lots of extra touches and thought has gone into this place. Instructions are clear and things labelled for clarification throughout the apartment. Kathleen was very communicative and a great host. I would highly recommend this rental.

Burlington Victorian was charming, incredible host, perfect location.
We couldn’t be happier with our stay at the Burlington, Victorian. We had a group of eight people, including teens and preteens. Kathleen was incredibly attentive and sweetened our stay with homemade strawberry jam and lots of wonderful, gastronomic amenities. She was very thoughtful, and we really appreciate it how everything in the house is labeled for ears, and convenience. Kathleen even took the trouble to put our bikes in the garage at night for us when we were out late at a wedding. Highly recommend!

Easy access to bike trail, great accommodations
Easy access to Burlington Greenway/Island Line Trail. Some restaurants within walking distance. Burlington waterfront a short bike ride along bike trail or a simple drive with lots of reasonably priced parking. First floor with 3 seperate sleeping rooms. Well stocked kitchen with coffee grinder and whole coffee beans, bread, eggs and home made jelly. Spices, Tabasco, and olve oil on spice rack. Very helpful and communicative host who made sure everything was set up as needed. Due to sleeping arrangements of guest, host supplied a cot. Dining room mural of Paris was a nice touch. Everything was clearly labelled and easy to find.

We had such a great weekend!
Thank you so much Kathleen for the wonderful stay! Communication with you was so smooth, and the apartment itself was just perfect. We were 7 adults in town for the Burlington Beer Fest! It was our first time not staying directly downtown, and we were surprisingly pleased! There are a couple breweries super close by, as well as the beach which was a great way to spend our afternoon. We also visited the Farmer’s Market on Saturday. The bus was free to get into town, and there were Ubers for the return back for those in our party who didn’t want to walk. Finally, Kathleen had so many special surprises for us we were so charmed ! Thanks again and we’ll definitely be back!

Beautiful place to stay!
Kathleen supplied so many items for your every day use. Things that you actually forgot but didn't realize it yet! Food items for breakfast, even what type of milk you prefer. Easy to find what you need because everything is very well labeled.There is a fantastic book in the kitchen with loads of ideas for activities and restaurants.The space is so cozy and inviting makes you want to stay in a bit more to enjoy your surroundings! Kathleen is a fantastic host and I highly recommend her property.

Lovely property for girls' getaway!
Four of us enjoyed a bachelorette weekend in Burlington with the Burlington Victorian as our home base. The house was lovely, very well-equipped, and very comfortable. Kathleen was fantastic to work with from start to finish, and we loved the special little touches she put together for us! Great location, too.

Superb Home and Outstanding Host
For us, it began with a plate of fresh baked chocolate chip cookies, and a lovely jar of homemade preserves. Small, discreet, tasteful notes were placed strategically throughout all rooms, designed to expedite guests' understanding of how to operate equipment, where to find supplies, etc., all for the convenience of someone trying to adapt to an unfamiliar living space. The home opens up into room after room of comfort, elegant decor and thoughtful effort. Eight foot ceilings, hardwood floors, comfortable furniture and a lovely Florida room are just the beginning. So much effort and thought has been put into personal convenience. From the obvious to the subtle, to the ergonomic thoughtfulness in layout and design, you will feel so "at home", that within a day you may find yourself asking "Now, where do I keep the scissors?" "Only one bathroom?", you may ask. Not a problem, as the owner has provided bathrobes in each bedroom for fast exits after showering. Additionally, she has cleverly and tastefully placed a small table, chair, mirror and close-up mirror in each bedroom and in the Florida room, which allows one to apply one's makeup or do one's hair, thus reducing demand for more bathroom time. All in all, we have never experienced such a high quality of effort and thoughtfulness in the preparation and delivery of a home rental. As we mentioned to the owner, we hope that it is a labor of love for her, because it is certainly a lot of labor. For that we are grateful.

An excellent base camp in Burlington.
The apartment was clean and well stocked with careful attention to details, like fresh milk and jam waiting in the fridge. The host was prompt to answer any questions that arose. Neighborhood was quiet at night and felt safe to walk in the day. Would highly recommend.

Every need anticipated--and more
What you don't see in the listing is how Kathleen provides everything--even the things you don't know you need--like extra hats and gloves for use for those who forgot their own; chargers at every bedside; super-plush and comfy sofa throws; bath robes that outdo the ones at the best hotels; clear instructions on everything; "bonus" playroom in the basement and "bonus" smoking space carved out in part of the garage. Our family spent Christmas week there and the Victorian vibe made the experience so warm and comfortable that even our 3-year old granddaughter said, "It was nice meeting this house."

Great for toddlers! Great host!
The host was warm, helpful and really made our stay easy and wonderful. The host installed baby gates, protectors on corners and outlets and had a pack n play, monitor, and high chair. It was ready to go for our 15month old! The location is walking distance to great breweries and restaurants. 8 min drive to downtown Burlington. It’s Easy to find off the highway and easy parking. I would recommend this location!

Our host welcomed us with snacks and info about the town, and we used it all. She recommended two nearby pizza/pubs and a wine bar. Delicious. All within walking distance. The home has off-street parking and is easily accessible to the downtown shopping and the harbor. We extended our stay thanks to a cancellation, and we were glad we did. Burlington is beautiful in the fall!

Rainy Burlington!!
Kathleen's B&B is superb!! She has everything from Q-tips to homemade jam and cookies!!! It was a perfect spot to kick back and relax. She even had directions for the light switches!! We had all the comforts of home. Many activities in walking distance, but with our rainy stay, we drove. Church street was about 7 blocks away and with the pouring rain, we were dancing between the rain drops. We were hoping that the leaves would have changed, but we were about 7-10 days too early. We highly recommend staying with Kathleen!! Karen & Gary

Very family friendly
We stayed one night in Burlington before traveling to Essex for a wedding. Kathleen made it one of the most comfortable nights of our trip. She was very accommodating of my two young children and supplied so many comforts of home that made traveling with a baby and toddler so much easier. My kids thoroughly enjoyed the toys and art supplies in the basement. It kept them entertained for hours before checkout. Everything in the house is clean, organized, and so cozy!

The little touches make this spectacular
My two girlfriends and I had an incredible stay at this property. The rooms are beautiful, the beds are comfortable, and there are so many little touches that bring this from "great" to "spectacular." From bath products to homemade jam, snacks on hand to attentiveness, we could not have asked for a better hostess nor a better stay. Everything is well cared for, and the place is immaculate. We even walked to dinner the first night, and had dessert at the nearby Champlain Chocolates! We would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended!

A lovely place in a fantastic location.

The Burlington Victorian
Kathleen’s home was just lovely and immaculate. She was a pleasure to work and provided all necessary information ahead of time. She was also very thoughtful with giving us homemade cookies and jam, what a treat!! The location was perfect for us, so close to the Church St. Marketplace with lots of shops and restaurants. A fun place to spend the day. Also close to Lake Champlain to catch a boat ride. We would definitely stay there again!!

Fantastic Stay - Highly Recommended!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Kathleen's unit. Communicating with Kathleen is a breeze. She's very responsive and will go out of her way to provide you with all you need - even the smallest of things. The apartment was spotless, and very well equipped for those who want to work or cook in. Fresh ground coffee every morning. Organic market just down the street and the best is the walking distance to the craft breweries. The Burlington Beer Co., right down the street, is world class and not to be missed! Zero Gravity has great food for vegans. Downtown Burlington is a 5 ~ 10 minute drive. Great bagels nearby. We will, without a doubt, try to stay at Kathleen's unit the next time we're in Burlington VT.
