My husband, kids, dogs and I decided to stay in one of the LCR cabins and we had an a lovely time! This location is ideal for people looking for accessible hiking and biking trails of all levels. The home was exactly as pictured and clean. Everything worked and we have no complaints. It was great to have the management company easily accessible for questions. They also have a little shop/restaurant for convenience.
This house was in a great location. Of course the perfect part was allowing our pet to stay. Check in was a breeze and the employees were very nice and had all the information needed. The resort was great. It had a nice pool and a restaurant. It even had an awesome band playing that weekend which was very enjoyable. The property was very clean and had everything we needed. We could not get the hot tub to heat up fully but unknown if it was not working or we were not doing something correctly. We loved this place and hope to be back soon.
4 amazing days to revive a beaten up family. Leasing company had the forethought to call ahead because of a leaking hot tub. They relocated our booking to an upgrade and it was very appreciated. Easily located property with plenty to do in the area. Accommodations we comfortable and above adequate. I would not hesitate to book another time
We enjoyed our stay at "Steeling Time." The cabin was a nice size for our party and we really enjoyed the hot tub. The negatives were mostly home maintenance things. There were loose/non-functioning outlets and the anchors holding towel racks were pulling out of the walls. Nothing was so bad that it ruined the stay, but they were small inconveniences that made the place feel cheaper.
Traveled with 5 children ages 3months-13 yr. Property was very clean. Hot tub was a hit, it was leaking some but not a huge deal. Not as private as we were hoping, but the gated resort was a nice touch and the community was quiet. Home itself was missing a couple of kitchen essentials that I expect with a rental, such as oil of any kind and sugar. Town was about a 30 minute drive. Couches were pretty uncomfortable, but the beds were great!
The cabin was very nicely kept and looks just like the pictures. The resort is very peaceful and quiet and was a great place to get away and relax. The only issues we had was the air stopped working towards the end of our stay. They said we could move cabins if able, but we chose to stay so that was our choice. They were more the willing to accommodate us. Some issues were having no dresser drawers in one of the bedrooms, some maintenance is needed on in the bathrooms for the towel and toilet paper holders as well as the pots and pans needing new handles. Other than those small things it was really a nice place to stay and enjoy ourselves.
Very nice cabin, decorated well, plenty of seating available. Large upstairs loft would be perfect for kids: one king sized bed and two twin sized beds. Loved the gas fireplace! It heated the space quickly, but does make the loft space quite warm. Overall a comfortable cabin to spend our Thanksgiving holiday!
We did have two spots of trouble: 1. the overhead light in the living area would not work. We called maintenance, they came with a 3 foot ladder. The gentleman realized it wouldn't work (lofted ceiling), so he left to go find an 8 foot ladder, but we never saw him again. We found some lightbulbs in a closet, pushed some furniture together and changed the bulb ourselves. 2. The hot tub leaks. The level of the water was below the jets. There's a hose on the deck, so we filled it back up, but then had to wait for the tub to rewarm (all night). So check the water before you put your suits on!

Good location in quiet area. Needs attention.
Check in was easy. We walked into the cabin and were surprised to find two dog chews on the floor.
We all had to use the bathroom and discovered the towel holder in the full bath downstairs still hadn’t been replaced after it had been mentioned in a review on VRBO well over a month ago. We brought 2 dogs, noticed a rug with loose trim on the floor in the LR and rolled it up to avoid issues.
We found our closet full of boxes of wood flooring and buckets of deck stain (there is a BSMT) suitcases stayed in the BR leaving little floor space for walking. All the sharp knives weren’t & the 2 skillets that were mentioned in a review were still there with broken handles and flaking teflon. We went out to dinner, bought a paring knife & a non-Teflon skillet.
The hot tub wasn’t working well …the two filters were checked and were clogged. Cleaned and it worked fine. In the final instruction, it stated to sweep the floors & tidy up. Tidying up isnt an issue but there is no floor cleaning done between renters as noted by the dog chews left by other renter & our socks being black from just walking in the cabin. A serious cleaning is needed.
Both Queen bed mattresses need replaced. The pillow top in one is non existent and the other isn’t much better. Note, the bath upstairs is entered thru the bedroom
The cabin suited our needs and was great for porch coffee drinking. The fire pit was used one night it didn’t rain. It has 2 wood benches.
It’s close to Burnside marina
Great property , beautiful place and perfect for our group , been coming to Cumberland for years and first time at this resort , would for sure stay here again !
This house was just as expected and had plenty of room for us all to enjoy being together. We played board games and enjoyed sitting outside on the front porch. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this cabin.
We had a great time fireplace and hot tub had a hiccup but were repaired quickly. We enjoyed the homemade ice cream alot and the area was beautiful. Would definitely recommend 👌
