"We enjoyed our stay at Hampton Inn and Suites in Brenham. We had a family wedding with at least a party of 20 staying at the hotel. While I appreciate that many of the rooms were handicap accessible, when I asked for a full size ironing board, I was basically told that whatever was in our room was what we got. The hotel was exceptionally well-maintained, and the staff overall (even with a glitch in their world-wide system) was very client-centered."

"This is the second stay for our family of 19. Overall, we love the property because it has adequate rooms for us, the pool, the game room, the tennis/basketball court, and the breakfasts. The landscaping and gardens are beautiful and well-kept. Check-in and communications is great. But two problems persist: the refrigerator in the kitchen was not working our first time and was not working this time (temp was 64), and the operating instructions for the hot tub are not accurate (written instructions at one point are reversed compared to you-tube) so that heater would not come on — fix, do a hard reset. Would we stay again— yes."

"In spite of extreme heat and an area wide power failure right after our arrival we enjoyed our stay. The most incredible part of the place is the massive 400 year old oak tree behind the cabin! Walter was friendly, communicated well, and was responsive to our concerns. He provided delicious pastries and fresh fruit upon our arrival. Our dog enjoyed the wide open spaces and drinking from the pond. The cabin was clean and cute."

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had such an amazing stay at the Frenchie! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. We stayed in the main house on the first floor, and the room was absolutely beautiful. The rooms and the entire property are so thoughtfully designed that every space feels photo shoot ready. It’s the perfect spot for a romantic getaway for two, but it would also be so much fun with a group of friends. The location couldn’t be better. We walked everywhere, with great restaurants, coffee shops, and shopping all just steps away. A couple of things to keep in mind: because the main house is historic, you can hear pretty much everything happening in the room above you. It wasn’t a dealbreaker for us, but if you’re a light sleeper, it’s something to be aware of. The other downside was the cost of food and drinks on the property. Cocktails were around $20 or more, which felt a bit expensive. Overall, it was an incredible stay, and we would absolutely come back. If you’re looking for a beautiful, charming hotel in an unbeatable location, the Frenchie is a fantastic choice."

"We stayed here for a baseball tournament at Diamond Oaks Ranch as there were no vacancy at the ranch. It was about 15 minutes away, which wasn’t bad. We had a minor miscommunication for our reservation due to Vrbo not notifying the host, but when I reached out, the host was immediately responsive and resolved the situation. It’s just minutes away from Round Top, so after our games, we went to town and enjoyed a great evening at Round Top Brewery and Kitchen. It was dark by the time we made it to the cottage, but it was fairly easy to find. The cottage itself was very cute and had everything we needed for our stay. The shower had great pressure and I loved the smell of the shampoo and conditioner. The towels were super fluffy. The bed was amazingly comfortable. I’m so glad we got the late game, so we got to sleep in a little. I really appreciated the snacks and the cold water in the little fridge. My husband really enjoyed having his cup of coffee on the little porch. Overall, I really enjoyed our stay. If we play at Diamond Oaks Ranch in the future, we will stay here again. Thank you!"
