"The cabin is everything shown in the listing..and more. The photos don't do justice to all the personal touches and thoughtful conveniences at the property. Its cozy, comfortable, and well appointed. We had a great local dinner at the lodge nearby recommended by the host. The property couldn't be more convenient to Lassen Park. The location is very quiet most of the time. The only complaint is that a loud motor came on at 5 am each morning behind the bedroom (a generator?) The first morning it turned off after ten minutes, but the next morning it stayed on for a few hours. All in all, highly recommended."

"Charming place. Recently redone, which is nice. Beautiful setting. There were many bird nests near our room. One bird actually flew into our room when we were coming in. But that’s a fun adventure we’ll talk about for years. The only real downside is how loud the space is. Each room is an echo chamber and vibrations from neighbors propagate very easily."

"Homey place to stay while exploring Lassen for the long weekend. The loft area had plenty of beds that was perfect for older kids. Plenty of amenities & supplies for cooking and building a fire, plus games and reading materials to keep entertained. Great communication with the host.Our biggest complaint was that the property listing showed that it was an 18 min walk from King's Creek Falls and the lava beds. We didn't do my research before booking the property and were surprised when the falls were a 40-50 min drive away and the lava beds over 2 hours away. When I asked the host, she told me that the nearby attractions are added automatically based on the location of the property. Next time we'll do our research beforehand instead of taking it at face value.Price was pretty high, but there weren't many other options in the area."

"The house and location is great. The house is cozy and the space around the house was fun with a little snow on the ground. We had a little cleanliness issue when we got there but the host stepped up and took care of it quickly. We hope to be back someday."
