"The location was great. A quick walk to Shipwreck Beach.We were there as Hurricane Lowell hit. Cathy, the host, made sure we were informed of our options to be safe during the storm. Post hurricane, Cathy checked in and again was helpful with dealing with the many challenges of a powerless island.Her place was a sturdy place to hunker down during the storm. So much so, we actually slept thru the worst of the storm with the windows open!"

"We have rented many places during our stay in Kauai but Poipu Shells by far, is our top. The house was absolutely beautiful. It was clean, spacious and such a great location. Very close to the beach and markets. Our family had a great time and we definitely would stay here again!"

"We (3 families) had a wonderful vacation at this beautiful property very close to Poipu beach and surrounding areas. The only issue we had was the pool did not look like the pictures posted, it was older, dirtier and the lights at night did not work. But otherwise no issues!"
