The grounds of the property extends to face the water and at sunset, you can walk out and witness the magnificence. You can walk to Poipu beach from there and then your relaxation begins.
It is also within walking/ short drive distance to Poipu restaurants, mall and all that Poipu has to offer!
The decor and facility may be a bit dated but it is very well maintained and cleaned. The folks who work there are friendly and courteous.

"We loved our stay! The home is just a few minutes from Poipu Beach, restaurants and shopping which was very convenient. Our family really appreciated all the beach toys and gear! It was nice to come home to our own little oasis in the backyard after a long day of swimming/snorkeling and exploring. The home is very clean, has all the amenities you would want and the owner is extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and has thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Mahalo! :)"

"We loved everything about this place. Sleeping in the super comfortable bed with the windows open to fall asleep to the sound of the ocean, the awesome shower, the views, the kitchen, the decorations, the pool, walking to an amazingly picture perfect cove a few houses away, the kindness of our hosts (they set out a bottle of wine for our stay, gave excellent suggestions on places to see and dine and let us pet their sweet cats). This place was definitely worth the splurge. We had the one bedroom suite that was upstairs facing the ocean. "
