The beach was quite and relaxing, thus Westin has a family vibe and good for children. The staff was friendly. I do think they can do better at advertising the water and children's activities. The rooms were excellent and resturants too. Ferry service and crew were great too. Great stay for a family of 5!"

"First, our host, Julie, was fabulous. Very responsive to any questions and helped us set up a birthday surprise for one of our party upon arrival. The birthday cake as yummy and it was nice having it already set up so we didn't have to run around trying to find a cake. The condo was as advertised, and the beds were so comfortable. We tend to cook a lot and the kitchen was fabulous. Any utensil, including food processors, blenders, pots, pans, coffee makers (there were two) we absolutely great. Two very large refrigerators made keeping everything for a group of 7 very easy - one was a toddler, so we had to keep a lot of milk and snacks for him. We were very close to the beach and the view was great. We did have some sargassum but obviously that is not under the control of the hosts - and it was raked every day. It's the hazards of traveling during the sargassum season. The location was great as Redhook was just a short drive away, there was a very good restaurant at the resort next door and shopping was easy at Moe's in Redhook. We were very close to the car ferry and passenger ferries, as well as the yacht club where we met to take an all-day private tour on a catamaran. All in all, it was a great trip and we'd go back. Thanks, Julie and to everyone who made it a great trip."
