"Clontarf Castle is a wonderful hotel with amazing decor and art. The room was a bit on the smaller side, but otherwise was excellent, very clean, with a good sized bathroom. The bar is lovely with great service. The hotel strives for luxury, and succeeds in many ways, but was seriously let down by the breakfast service. The manager was very good, but the rest of the staff seemed, at best, disinterested. Food was delivered and the servers said almost nothing, did not look at us, and nobody came...

"Nice room, comfortable bed, pleasant staff. I found the hotel quiet so it was easy to get a good sleep. Lots of breakfast options and the food quality was good. My only quibble is that the hotel is advertised as walkable from the airport. That’s technically true but it’s very difficult to find the safe way to cross the 4 lane road to get to it. There is a shuttle, which I used to get to the airport in the morning. "
