Our party of six adults had a great experience with Jenna’s farmhouse. It was welcoming, plenty of space, spotless and wonderfully located for our Cable adventures. The forest walk to River Eatery was a bonus treat to an already great place. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!
The house was great! It was very clean, the owner was super responsive, and the beds were extremely comfortable. We loved the sauna house and used it daily.
It's nice to have trails on the property that lead to the cable community trails. We would stay here again!
If you like old houses tastefully done you will love this place. The house and yard are fantastic. The pictures don't do it justice. We 4 wheeled and it is a great location for that. If you just want a place to hang out with good friends this would be a good place to stay. I am certain we will stay here again.
The layout of the house was bigger than in the pictures. There is a mainfloor bedroom great for anyone with issues with stairs. The upper level has two bedrooms on one side & a main suite on the other side. The location was good right off the road with a large parking area. The trails were worn so they were easy to find once we figured out the directions. Cable was a nice little town with a good hands on museum for younger kids
We had a two-day stay at Cable Farm - 5 acres on trails with a private Sauna House. The host has done many things right with this wonderfully restored farmhouse. They've maintained the charm of the original, while including great updates where they count, like the comfortable newer bed in the spacious master bedroom. We especially enjoyed the sauna since the weather during our fall visit was unseasonably cold. It was easy to communicate with the host, who responded quickly to our questions. This was among the best experiences I've had over my many years of northern cabin rentals, and I look forward to the possibility of another stay here.
We had a great stay here over Labor Day weekend. We brought our kids (ages 11-18) and dog up to Cable for the mountain bike races at Mt. Telemark. The house was beautiful and comfortable. It had everything we needed (towels, kitchen items, etc). We enjoyed the mowed paths on the property and the connection to the Cable Town trails right out of the back of the property. It was a quick and easy drive over to Mt. Telemark for the mountain bike races. We even saw the northern lights the first night we arrived. The host answered all messages quickly and was so easy to work with. We will absolutely stay here again.
We returned to The Cable Farm for another group stay and it was just as perfect as before. Spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped—everything we needed for a relaxing, effortless getaway. Can’t wait to come back again!
I almost want to lie and say this place was meh and keep it secret and available for my next trip through because it was just so perfect. The location, the wonderful space indoor and out, the sauna! It suited our needs so well as we got to know the nearby trails and towns. We will most definitely be back. Thanks Jenna!

We had a family reunion and my immediate family (son and family and daughter) all stayed there. Walkable into town, big yard for our grandson to run around in. The host was outstanding. Immediately responded to my messages.
Our group of friends has stayed this amazing home twice so far in 2025, & we are booked for another birthday celebration weekend in 2026! Jenna is an amazing, very kind and generous host. We appreciate her so much! Other features we enjoy are the sweet trail hike to Cable for drinks & pizza, the sauna and the quiet sleeping spaces.
