Our stay for two was perfect! The property itself is very nice, the rooms are “outdated” but I knew that based off of other reviews. I personally do not care about the rooms as long as they are clean, functioning and well equipped (which they were). You spend the least amount of time in the room anyways! Super close to the beach, I like how you can use both resorts. We only ate at the buffets and they were good, lots of options. Staff was nice, no complaints! would stay here again :) I saw a lot of negative reviews on how it was noisy, which was not the case for us. Everyone who complained did decide to go during spring break which is expected

I did not like that you could not swim in the ocean in front of the hotel. The hallways are all tile in the hotel making it VERY noisy day or night from cleaning carts, suitcases, and people returning to their rooms. The ladies at cappuccino for morning coffee were rude. All the other staff we encountered we had good experiences. While the pool was nice and we enjoyed being able to find chairs, there are lots of tiles missing and it needs some repair.

This is definitely not a 5 star hotel. The food is just terrible. The all inclusive not worth it at all. Poor food quality and becareful with food poisoning.

Pros: Beautiful views, amazing huge pools, very clean, amazing service (Angel at the beach bar is so nice and helpful!), right on the beach (note: while you can't swim right out front, you can walk to swimmable areas), breakfast buffet was great with so many options Cons: We did not like the Japanese restaurant

We enjoyed our stay, I’d say the food was better then where we usually go “all around Huatulco” the hotel is so big and there are stairs everywhere, bathrooms are far from Pools , kinda inviting the inevitable pool pee’ers. Because the beach isn’t useable , the pools get pretty full, which is okay, but they have so many activities you can’t really relax in the pool. But people were having fun& that’s always good! The pool is dated with a lot of tile falling off. But they were always cleaning and staff was great.

I had an enjoyable stay and everyone was nice, friendly and warm. Great excursions (Sun Rider boat ride, city tour & glass boat, and ATVs) and parties were themed and a lot of fun with techno music. My one issue was the food could have been better...tasteless and served warm/cold.

Such a beautiful place and great people that work there. Very generous and easy. Don’t need to make reservations to eat which is amazing and they make all types of drinks with whatever brand u want. Only issue the water and lights went out 4 times on Monday between 12pm to 2pm

What made this vacation special at the Riu Palace Los Cabos is the staff. We delt with different staff from house keeping, servers and workers, we can't express enough the efforts and dedications that everyone we showed during our visit. The layout of the facility and options are many but the staff workers acted above and beyond. We finally found our spot for our regular getaway.

This was our second stay at the Riu Palace. My only complaint was the children across from us screaming and crying all night The staff were quick to make things right for us and moved us to a different room an an upgrade as well. I can not say anything bad about the resort. Staff are absolutely amazing. The resort is so beautiful Whatever you do…….dont forget to tip the staff at every opportunity. They live off their tips. And your service will be the best ever!!! Go to the dining room in the evening and ask to be seated in Victor’s section. Best service we have ever had!!! ❤️

This resort is amazing. Only downside being that you cant swim in the ocean here. Most beautiful beach but cant use it due to strong undertows.

I reserved a king-sized bed for person, and when I arrived, they told me it was for 2 people. I told them no, only 1. They overcharged me by $984. I contacted Expedia to tell them what happened. They contacted the property, and they are saying it's past their booking period. With all the money makes off bookings, I would think they would offer the refund as a gesture of good customer service. I will never stay at Riu Palace in Cabo, or any other of their properties again, and I won't use Expedia again.

Our first all inclusive and it was good but not great. Maybe my expectation was too high. I think overall the main disappointment was no real setup to enjoy beach. Otherwise food was pretty good. Rooms were nice. Didn’t feel too big. Good entertainment.

I have not one bad thing to say about this resort. We took our 4 year old on her first trip and it was as blissful as travelling with a 4 year old can be. Minus the ocean not being swimmable everything was amazing. The views are amazing from the pool. The staff are so kind. Even the shows were great. We will be back for sure :)

The resort was very clean and the staff are all wonderful. I always felt safe even walking to my room by myself late at night. I felt the food was good but average. The rooms definitely need some updating but still nice. I will say the beds are terrible and the pillows were even worse. It was just not us but our whole group of 16 felt this way. Another thing that I wasn't fond of was the entertainment at night. They always had the kids entertainment first in the same place of the adult shows and the adult shows didn't start till 9:00 p.m. It would of been nice if they would of had two different areas and started the adult entertainment earlier.

The Riu palace was nice. The beach was not so great. Could not swim in the Sea of Cortez. The pools were very noisy. The service was great. The weather in April was very HOT! we had a good time.
