Great Place.. Well stocked with everything you need for your stay.. AC's worked great.. Great Location.. You can pretty much walk to anything (groceries, bars/restaurants, marina etc).Maria and her crew from Tropical Homes of Costa Rica Concierge Service were available for every ask and responded promptly. They were there to meet us at the condo when we arrived making our check in a breeze.

We had a pretty good stay here. But there were some issues. For example, when we walked into the condo, there was a strong sewer smell, thankfully after sometime the smell went away. The pool was closed most of the time were there.

Lovely Flamingo Penthouse

Service Cannot Be Beat!

Maria was exceptional and very responsive. We would rent from Tropical Homes again based on our experience with her. The condo was very nice and was located close to restaurants and stores. Beautiful ocean views from the patio. Property was very clean. The beds were pretty hard and we were worried the frame in the master bedroom was going to break because of how creaky it was.

Playa Flamingo Getaway

Flamingo Rose Vista was great! It was perfect for our family of four. There is a restaurant and a market right across the street and a great breakfast spot called Nalu next door. You can walk to Flamingo beach and to several restaurants. We rented a golf cart from a spot around the corner one day so we could explore a little more. We were able to do laundry which was great since we were going to the beach daily. My only complaint is that both the beds are on wood platforms and they are quite noisy every time you move in the bed. It isn't a deal breaker and I would stay again, but it would be great if they weren't so noisy. Highly recommend staying here!

Costa Rica 6/13/19-6/21/19

The property was in a great location, walking distance to beach, shops and restaurants. The condo was cleaned and stocked. It was nice because there was a little market across the street that was convenient and had a good selection of items. Beach chairs, towels and even a small cooler were provided for our use at the beach. This is a penthouse unit and the building does not have an elevator, so lugging stuff up 5 flights of stairs (2 outside and 3 inside) was a chore, but on the bright side we got a daily workout. We greatly enjoyed are stay and look forward to our next visit.

The Perfect Costa Rican Getaway!

We had an absolutely incredible stay at this condo in Flamingo, Costa Rica! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning views and the beautiful, well-maintained property. The condo itself was perfect for our family of four—spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. The kitchen was fully stocked, and we made some delicious meals here. Whether we were having breakfast on the balcony while watching the sunrise or preparing a casual snack after a day of adventures, it was such a joy to cook in such a well-equipped space. The property itself was a dream. The infinity pool was a gift after long days of exploring. There was also easy access to the beach, which was just a short walk away. It was never crowded, and we were able to enjoy peaceful walks along the shoreline and some fun family beach time. The location couldn’t be more ideal—Flamingo is a charming and relaxed area with great restaurants, shops, and activities. Overall, this condo is a gem! It’s a beautiful and peaceful place that felt like a home away from home.

Very nice!

We enjoyed our stay at the Flamingo Rose Vista. The condo was clean, airy, and spacious. The grounds were well-maintained. We had no issues with noise from other units. The condo was well-stocked with kitchen items. The bed was very comfortable. Be aware that there are 7 flights of stairs to get to the unit (2 outside and 5 inside.) There is a little grocery store across the street and a few restaurants and a pharmacy a short walk away. Marie's was our favorite restauraunt with the vegetarian place right across the street a close second. We didn't rent a car and ended up renting a street-legal gas-powered golf cart (rentagolfcartcostarica.com), which helped open up the area to us because we could cart up to Potrero or down to Conchal. Without the cart, we woukd have felt somewhat "stranded" because there is not a lot within an easy walking distance.

Perfect Location

Beautiful, well equipped, secure condo. I was concerned about 7 flights of stairs but no issues. 2 outdoor flights, then a landing area. Then 3 flights interior as condo on a hill on 3rd floor. Yes, local grocery store with the basics just steps away with standard pricing. Best breakfast, best hand squeezed juices in the area steps away as well. You are an easy walk or golf cart ride to beach area and Bay Area. A new marina is under construction which will bring more tourism to area (maybe complete by end of 2022). Bay is where you can get a catamaran sail or fishing trip. Lots of tour companies. We used 3 different services. All very friendly. Everyone on Costa Rica is friendly and happy. Grocery store, restaurants and tour companies accept credit card. But we found with some tour operators that they prefer cash. Had a blast - this was our first time to Costa Rica. I would stay in same place. Much better vibe here. Nice to visit Tamarindo but glad we stayed in Playa Flamingo. Pura Vida.

SUPER CENTRICO

la ubicación es super céntrica, está a un minuto del supermercado del área, queda a la par de la plaza principal de Flamingo, y está a pasos de la marina nueva de Flamingo que vale la pena visitar o caminar despues del atardecer. se dura 5-10 min caminando a la playa. La casa es super cómoda, el balcón tiene un BBQ aunque no lo usamos, cuenta con todos los utensilios, condimentos básicos, y más para cocinar lo que sea. Cuenta también con los accesorios para llevar a la playa como toallas, bloqueador, flotadores sencillos y tablas pequeñas para surfear. El personal de administración fueron super atentos, amables y abiertos a sugerencias. Lo único que debe tomar en cuenta, y nosotros fuimos sabiendo de lo que voy a comentar, es que el edificio no tiene asensor, y la casa queda en un tercer piso, del parqueo al edificio hay que subir otras escaleras (20 gradas aprox), igual no fue un impedimento para nosotros que llevábamos muchas maletas, pero la persona tiene problemas de rodillas o de movilización si sería incomodo. Sería bueno si el parqueo tuviera más áreas techadas.

Great condo (not on a hill!!!)

We’ve stayed in other condos in this area and this one was one of the best. The condo itself has a lot of space and character. We loved that it’s not your average cookie cutter style and the decorations are wonderful. It’s also a perfect location as it’s close to everything and doesn’t require walking up/down a hill. (If you’re familiar with Playa Flamingo then you’ll completely understand.) One great quality of this condo is the kitchen. If you’re looking to make meals at home and not eat out for every meal, this one is perfect. The kitchen has everything you need, to include a beautiful view while you’re washing the dishes!
