"Room and area around the hotel is always clean and maintained properly by staff. Especially Felix who is always around to help if needed. This is a rustic hotel and many locals from in and around Costa Rica come to visit and stay. It’s welcoming and comforting if that’s the vibe you are after. There are many noises. Roosters all day every day, doesn’t matter the time of day. Birds. And lots of them. Then you have the busy intersection, there are Sodas (local restaurants) in the area behind the hotel, and the gives a vibe of liveliness. Which I didn’t mind at all, it added to the experience of Pura Vida. The proximity to everything you need and want is within walking distance. "

"The room was clean and simple. Airco worked very well and staff is friendly. It was nice to have a good restaurant attached to the hotel. For anyone who is looking for a short stay in Brasilito this is a great option. They even organized a surf lesson for the kids "

"La comida muy rica, para el turista local muchos del staff los que se encargan de realizar las actividades de piscina y la mayoria de bartenders tienen un trato muy diferenciado si es extranjero a si es Costarricense, el staff se conoce el negocio que es turismo, pero si es turista local, piénselo, no lo hacen sentirse a gusto o no le dan el trato y la calidad de bebidas como si fuera extranjero. Los saloneros de los restaurantes sí son excelentes."

"This place is truly a gem. We had 5 couples thoroughly and comfortably enjoy a week here. The pictures can't possibly due it the justice it deserves. A couple things for others to note. There are nice 3 bedrooms inside the house, 1 amazing bedroom with panoramic windows and the most amazing view that is attached to the house, and 1 separate casita with kitchen, living and bed and bath unattached. All bedrooms are very comfortable with their own bathrooms. But there is a clear winner being the bedroom woth the view. The house was plenty big enough for 5 couples. The beach from the house. was superb. Yes, you can swim and snorkel. Its a hike up and down the steps but we used it as our excuse for our daily workout. Golf cart rentals are more valuable than car rentals. We wished we rented cars as needed versus for the week. But, we needed the golf carts daily. This is a special place. Enjoy!"

"Great resort for families. Beach was beautiful and the staff was very friendly. Pool was perfect for my kids, with three different shallow areas where they could play. The resort yacht tour was amazing and easily a highlight of the stay. We did the morning snorkel to Honeymoon Beach and it felt like a private tour. Easily accessible to see wildlife in nearby places. "

"We love the location of this property. Very good communication and so helpful to make sure you have the best stay. We enjoyed the massages that were arranged for us and the staff that cleans the pool and pool deck each day are so hardworking. This was our second trip and hopefully we will return again someday. "

"room was comfortable, AC quiet and effective. Access to beach is fantastic, a very short walk. Shuttle and taxi easily arranged by staff. Restaurant good with others nearby. Staff throughout very helpful."
