Flamingo Azul is a beautiful three-bedroom condo in Playa Flamingo that offers spectacular views of Brasilito Bay and Potrero Bay. This high-end unit is located in Flamingo Towers, a luxurious residential development offering unparalleled ocean views and convenient amenities.



The Space:

This recently renovated unit features a casual, modern, beachy design, with plush furniture and a TV in the living room. This room opens to a spacious, furnished balcony, which offers spectacular views of Brasilito Bay, especially at sunset! The open floor plan includes a six-seat custom-built dining table and a gourmet kitchen with granite countertops, a breakfast bar, and top-of-the-line appliances, including a full stove and oven, a microwave, a dishwasher, a coffee maker, and a refrigerator with a water dispenser.



The single-level condo’s master bedroom includes a king bed, TV, and ensuite bathroom with a shower/tub combo. It also offers access to the oceanview balcony! The second bedroom includes a queen bed, and the third bedroom has two twin beds. Both these bedrooms share a full bathroom with a shower. There is also a half bathroom located near the condo’s living room and kitchen.



The entire unit is equipped with central air conditioning and high-speed internet. There is also an in-unit washer and dryer. The condo is located on the fourth floor, but it can be accessed via two elevators. Small-breed dogs are welcome with an additional cleaning fee and pet deposit.



Flamingo Towers offers several community amenities for guests, including a private parking garage (with one assigned spot for this unit), 24/7 security, and two stunning swimming pools with lounge chairs. One of the swimming pools is an infinity pool that offers stunning ocean views, while the other has a very shallow side that’s ideal for children.

The Neighborhood:

Flamingo is a high-end beachfront community notable for its dazzling ocean views and the beautiful, hilly peninsula that juts out into the Pacific, separating Playa Potrero from Playa Flamingo.

Flamingo is home to a wide array of stunning homes and vacation rentals, as well as humbler lodging options, and it has restaurants, grocery stores, banks and other conveniences.

A brand-new, state-of-the-art marina opened to the public in 2022, with slips for yachts and fishing boats, condos for rent and all kinds of shops and restaurants. Other major developments here include the 360 Splendor del Pacifico luxury condominiums on top of the North Ridge, the Margaritaville Beach Resort, and the upscale Mar Vista housing development, where there’s an excellent private school called La Paz.

Good restaurants in town include the Coco Loco, a beachfront eatery known for its coconut drinks and standout cuisine; Marie’s, a reliable standard with a long and enticing menu; Angelina’s, featuring fine Italian dining in an elegant environment; and several options at the Margaritaville, including the 5 O’Clock Somewhere Bar & Grill.

Flamingo was largely developed by foreigners, and it lacks the traditional Costa Rican downtown with a soccer field plaza, church and school. The heart of town is an upscale commercial plaza with stone steps, fountains, restaurants and shops. Farther away on the road to Brasilito, you’ll find smaller restaurants, hotels, banks, hardware stores and the Super Massai grocery store.

Flamingo is more or less the centerpiece of a beautiful coastline stretching from the Reserva Conchal resort in the south to the Las Catalinas resort in the north, with the more traditional Costa Rican towns of Brasilito and Potrero in between. Flamingo is within easy striking distance of several beaches, including Conchal, Flamingo, Potrero, Penca, Prieta, Pan de Azucar and Danta.

While taxis are available, they may be somewhat challenging to find. Many locals rely on buses for transportation, although there is a limited selection of routes and schedules. Private shuttles are an excellent choice for reaching nearby destinations, and numerous tour companies offer transportation to and from their tours.

Special Places of Costa Rica is committed to protecting our properties and complying with short-term rental regulations, which is why all guests are required to complete an independent verification with our trusted partner, TRUVI, before check-in. You will be contacted via email, text, or app notification with instructions to complete this process. As part of the verification, you will need to choose between paying a refundable security deposit (which includes a non-refundable 2% processing fee) or purchasing a non-refundable damage waiver, which protects you in case of accidental damage during your stay. We strongly recommend the damage waiver, as it provides peace of mind and avoids tying up funds with a deposit. Both the TRUVI verification and your selection of either the deposit or the damage waiver must be completed prior to your arrival.
