He gave us excellent recommendations for beaches (highly recommend Puerto Viejo/Playa Conchal, Playa Real, and Playa Flamingo) in addition to Playa Grande which is a 10 minute walk away. The house is basic, but excellent for sleeping and minimal cooking.As others have said, the road to the house is bumpy and steep, but it's totally fine to drive it with a regular sedan, just go slowly. "Beautiful property that was perfect for our stay. It’s an easy walk to the beach or restaurant. The sunset views, awesome waves, animals/birds, fruits will be bringing us back soon. The beds were comfortable, A/C was cold, full kitchen, and grill made it easy to prepare meals during our visit. The outdoor shower was great to wash off the excess sand and screened in patio were a definite plus. "
