"We just loved our stay at Saltwater Chronicles. Beautiful, newly decorated lodge with a brilliant view of the sea. We loved walking along the rocks, exploring the caves, walking up through the stunning green glen to the impressive waterfalls. The two lochs are so pretty. Every member of the team we encountered on the estate was friendly and welcoming. The meals we ordered from the kitchen were delicious. Communications were quick and helpful. We can’t wait to return."

The hosts were very helpful and provided an excellent welcome pack which included delicious chocolate brownies. They also provided a good information pack on where to eat and where to visit."

"The cottage was immaculate. Well decorated and spotlessly clean. It was well furnished too and the kitchen had everything you needed for a stay. Plenty of pans and utensils to allow us to cook if we wanted to. The hosts couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. They were keen that we had all we needed to have a great stay. "My friends and I had a wonderful weekend stay at Seabank. The property is homely and cosy (especially once the coal fire is up and running!) and the large kitchen areas made cooking and dining together very straightforward for our group of six. The local pub is less than 10 minutes' walk, although make sure to take a torch if you'll be returning in the dark! I would highly recommend Seabank to anyone looking for a base to explore the nearby walks and sights, or just for a quiet getaway."

"We stayed here as a family of 4 with 2 teenage children. The property is very clean and has a great and well equipped kitchen. There are 2 excellent sized showers and 2 toilets. Lovely welcome pack and great food storage for fresh and frozen. Parking is excellent and we enjoyed the grounds. It’s lovely and quiet with a lot of nature! The road by the house is not too busy, and the property is not far from Portpatrick, a quiet town. Good access by car to a few local beaches and a good location...

"Great spot for exploring Galloway. Hot tub overlooking the forest, and walks starting straight from the cabin. Wildlife all around. Note that it is attached to another cabin & a farm, so it's not isolated - but we did feel like we had privacy. Otherwise a washing machine could be a good addition. Dave & Becky were very helpful, we'd definitely come back!"
