"This was an amazing final stop on our adventure in Egypt. If I return to Egypt, I would definitely stay here again. This is an amazing and beautiful hotel with amazing, beautiful restaurants and amazing and beautiful people that work there."
"Nice quality hotel to stay at especially if you have an early morning or late night flight departure or arrival. There is a pedestrian bridge that you can walk directly from airport to hotel. "
"Checkin was okay, this is a new hotel taking up two floors in a very old downtown building. Entrance terrible, lift hardly works, bed linen had top sheet missing and very high pillows. Service was shocking. Staff were rude and surly we were ignored much of the time. Felt we were interrupting them and there were a lot of staff! Breakfast acceptable - only just. We booked in for two nights and checked out early as we could not stay a second night. I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone. Wait 6 months - they may learn how to show hospitality - or they will go broke!"
"The staff were horrible, probably the most unaccommodating staff I’ve encountered on my trips abroad so far. I was kindly asking for the WiFi acess as I needed to update people about my arrival to Cairo, but the staff rudely dismissed my concern and gave empty promises. What a very unreliable service!"
"Stayed at the Sofitel Zamalek and overall had a great experience. The room was comfortable and clean, breakfast buffet at $30 was fresh and varied, and the location is fantastic—safe and convenient.
A heads-up: airport transfers are now $110 USD, which is way overpriced—Uber is a much better option. Prices across the hotel have gone up, and the online menus aren’t updated, so be prepared for that.
Despite that, the service and comfort made it a solid stay."
