The front desk staff was excellent at the front desk and really tried to this part to make my pleasure as possible. The Security Officer was very helpful as well.

It was good for the price. Shower curtain rod fell, leaky sink p-trap, wax seal on toilet leaked onto floor and air conditioner was sketchy. But probably OK for its price point.

Beautiful complex, really beautiful, very clean and we'll looked after. Air con / heater worked perfect within minutes the room was heated. Shower was amazing perfect power and very modern. Beds are super comfy and a very big car park outside.

We spent a week there with family every day the rooms were cleaned and the sheets and towels changed -Breakfast is a really huge buffet you will find everything, even sweaters which is rare nowadays in hotels -Staff extremely helpful and very friendly.

Very tired and, in Western terms, would by 5/10. Nice position in the city but my room was not that clean and in need of updating badly. I would not recommend other than a cheap well placed stay. It definitely not rated 8 starts, as I have seen on sites.

Location was great. Hotel staff always happy to help and very friendly. Our room was large and air con worked well. Tours and transport were booked through hotel - all very good, our drivers were exceptional.

A little disappointed
I recently stayed at the Valencia Hotel in downtown Cairo for four nights, with an initial booking for a "Superior Room with city view and King size bed." However, my experience did not quite match the expectations set by the hotel's advertisement. Upon arrival, I was informed that the superior room was not available, leading to my first night being spent in a "family" room. This room fell short of expectations, offering poor amenities. The next day, I was switched to another room, but it still did not align with the description of my original booking. Contrary to the promised king-size bed and city view, I found myself in a room with a queen-size bed and no view of the city. One of the most significant drawbacks of my stay was the lack of room cleaning and daily toiletries. The carpet is quite filthy. For those who rely on internet connectivity, whether as digital nomads or for casual use, the hotel’s internet connection was disappointingly inadequate. The poor internet service proved to be a major inconvenience, especially for guests needing to work or stay connected during their travels. On a positive note, the hotel's location is indeed advantageous, being close to several landmarks in downtown Cairo. However, this benefit comes with a downside. The area is bustling with activities, and the nighttime noise was a constant presence in my room, which can be disturbing for guests seeking a peaceful night's sleep.

The walls are thin and you could here the people next door. It’s downtown so it’s noisy all night. The shower didn’t look complete. The water ran out of the shower and the whole bathroom floor was wet. The tv didn’t work. We were told we were getting 2 rooms and when we arrived they only had one. After expressing our dissatisfaction with our room and going to another hotel we were told we would not be refunded!!! We stayed only one night in this hell hole.
