"If you’re looking for a place that truly feels like home while visiting Portugal, look no further than Lua de Caldelas. Our family and friends stayed here during our wedding week in Braga, and we could not have been happier with our experience. From the moment everyone arrived, Ziv and Keren welcomed us with genuine warmth, kindness, and hospitality that made everyone feel like family. Every detail of this bed and breakfast exceeded our expectations. The beautiful grounds, meticulously maintained by Ziv, created a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, while Keren’s incredible homemade breakfasts were the perfect way to start each day. You can truly feel the love and care they pour into every aspect of the property. What impressed us most was their attention to detail and the way they went above and beyond to ensure our guests felt comfortable and at home while being overseas. Their exceptional service and heartfelt hospitality made such an important week in our lives even more memorable. Thank you, Ziv and Keren, for taking such wonderful care of our family and friends. We are incredibly grateful for everything you did to make our wedding week so special. We wholeheartedly recommend Lua de Caldelas to anyone visiting the Braga area. "What an amazing property, the photos do not do it justice! Lovely air conditioned rooms, amazing gardens, hammocks, massive pool, plenty of outdoor eating areas! The hosts were great. There are chickens to feed and a friendly cats."

"We had a wonderful week at Maisons des Fleurs! The setting is absolutely gorgeous nestled up in the hills with incredible views of the valley. The photos don’t do it justice! The property had everything we needed - the pool was a huge hit with the kids and there were plenty of indoor and outdoor areas where our group of 11 could gather together or spread out and relax. The hosts were helpful and responsive - the homemade fig jam and bottle of wine they provided when we checked in were such a nice touch. Overall we would highly recommend!"

"The property was nice and breakfast was excellent but the pics shown on Expedia alludes to a hotel that does not exist. The pool is not on the property (you can get a voucher to a pool 300 meters away and that pool looks nothing like the pool in the pics representing this property)> So the property was nice and the service great and the staff very good but you will not get the place these pics represent. That is my disappointment. If you are okay with that difference it is a good place to stay."

"This was one of our favorite places we stayed in Portugal. The lady who runs this is absolutely wonderful (as well as her pet goat and dogs). She even makes a lovely homemade breakfast, by request, for only 6€ a person. In the morning, we could smell her homemade bread baking. The suite we stayed in had a full kitchen, a super comfortable bed, nice bathroom and a beautiful balcony with a view of the hills. The property is very quiet and located in such a peaceful area. If we ever go back to Portugal, we are staying at this ranch again. "
