Needed a place for us and our fur babies for 4 nights. The location was excellent and the pictures are very accurate.
Would recommend this listing for a quite stay.
This open concept bungalow was very clean and well decorated, the host was very active and answered all my questions quickly. I would definitely recommend this property to others.
This was one of the best stays I have ever had. The host was lovely throughout the entire stay and the house was beautifully decorated. I had an event here and it was the perfect place to host it. Overall I would love to stay here again.
Hosted a small event at this property and it was great! The place was super clean and looked beautiful inside. The owner was also easy to contact and responded really fast every time. There is a tenant in the basement suite, which I didn’t know prior to booking, but that was not an issue during our stay. The location is on a quiet street with lots of free parking. Overall I would stay here again!
Cons:
-the bathtub had lots of little black hairs in it and the sides of the tub looked very dusty, like it had not been wiped in months.
-the bedding too had hairs which scared me but the owner assured me that the bedding had been washed.
-there were no pots in the kitchen so i had to boil spagetti in a wok
-the first night we were there the downstairs tenant was noisy late into the night, luckily this was not true for the other two nights
- there are white curtains in one of the bedrooms and it was very bright in there past 5am. I wish there were darker curtains to block the morning sun and street lights
Pros:
-Pictures were very accurate
-the beds were comfy and firm. mattress felt new
-it was awesome to have Netflix, Prime, and Paramount plus
-the kleenex and toilet paper were good quality
-there was ice in the freezer for us
-neighborhood location was quiet and felt secure
-hot water on demand system (instant hot water)
- easy to communicate with the owner
Had a few issues with the electrical system in the property, microwave did not work, and at 9 am on check out day the power went out when I was in the shower...these things happen. Lawn could have been cut. The neighbors downstairs were blaring the TV and talking very loud and laughing until about 1:00 am Sunday night/Monday morning Could clearly hear two males and at least one female downstairs. We also had a neighbor from across the road come pounding on the door threatening me because there as a car parked in front of his house telling me that when he gets angry that he gets violent, and that he spend a few years in jail for almost killing someone. When I told him that I had spent over 35 years in law enforcement, and that I wasn't about to put up with his threats he backed away and apologized. I think the house number was 1154, a white house at any rate, so for anyone else who is staying there, don't park there and avoid the grief. Other than that it is a older quiet neighborhood that is two block from a park for your kids and pets
