I was unsure about this hotel due to the price, totally exceeded my expectations and more. Sure the hotel is older and a bit rundown, but completely spotless clean staff that goes up and beyond out of their way to make you comfortable. Well done!

There’s a lot of trouble going on there, and it definitely needs some work. That being said, we enjoyed our stay…the staff was outstanding, and the price good…but you need to invest a bit.

The room was ok. Had to push entry door closed every time. Shower handle fell off because there was no screw in it. Room could use a deep clean. Beds were ok for comfort. The restaurant was horrible. My breakfast sausages were literally rancid. I had to spit it out. I didn't know their coffee was $4.50 per small cup. 😳 terrible experience. I wouldn't eat there. There are lots of other good restaurants around close. I would stay again but things need to improve.

The room was good and the staff were friendly. The challenge was we needed a maintenance person for something and asked repeatedly over 3 days and never had one come to our room. We were told multiple times someone would come. Our TV remote did not work and our shower head barely gave out any water. We have had lots of good stays at this hotel but not this one. I also want to mention that the restaurant has changed. It used to be one of our favourite things about staying there. We tried the new one. The person who served us took a very long time to come over and she didn’t know anything about what was behind the bar or on the menu. Hopefully that will improve with experience.
