Book now for spring and summer

La Bastide de Provence is located in Callas on the road to Côtes de Provence and hilltop villages in the Var. Access is by climbing one of the hills of the village. The domain is at the top of the hill of St Peïre covered with olive trees. A winding path leads directly to the parking lot located next to the house. This new country house is built on a promontory with panoramic views of the village of Callas and the wooded surroundings. A large outdoor area allows you to practice various activities (swimming, boules, badmington, table tennis) in addition to relaxation in the sun.
A covered terrace with barbecue, table and outdoor chairs allows you to take meals in the shade and have a view of the village.
The Bastide opens on the ground floor onto a large living space with a living room and a dining room. A small, well-equipped Provencal style kitchen is located between the dining room and the terrace.
There are 5 thematic bedrooms, all with a bathroom (sink, shower, and heated towel rail): one bedroom on the ground floor and 4 other bedrooms upstairs with access to a large balcony. Toilets are present on the ground floor and upstairs. A laundry room is available on the ground floor: space is used for cleaning equipment (ironing board, washing machine, sink ...) and storage.

Access to the village of Callas on foot is easy. You just have to take the pretty Provençal paths through the olive groves and vineyards. We meet the shepherd and his sheep. We pass the old oil mill transformed into a museum of popular tradition. We also take advantage of the market and its regional products in the heart of the village.
From there it is possible to cross the entire region for the most diverse tourist activities. This region is appreciated above all for its landscapes between sea and mountains: the famous cities and beaches of the Côte d'Azur (St Tropez, Ste Maxime, Cannes, Menton ...) but also the mountainous hinterland, the gorges du Verdon, the lakes of Ste Croix and St Cassien and next to the Bastide in Callas, the Gorges de Pennafort.

Perfect week in Provence

We spent a wonderful week in Callas. Despite the high heat in summer, there was always a refreshing breeze as the house is located on a hill with a spectacular outlook. It is very well equipped with all items needed to spend a nice holiday. House and pool are enclosed by a beautiful mediterranian garden with trees providing shade during the day. We enjoyed the daily short walks to Callas, with its shops, bars and restaurants. Especially to mention: the excellent boulangerie in Callas and the very friendly housekeeper.

Wer nach Ruhe und einem tollen Panorama sucht, der ist in der Bastide de Provence super aufgehoben. Nach der Buchung kam direkt der Kontakt mit der Vermieterin zu Stande, die uns alles wichtige schon mal vorab in einer PDF Datei zuschickte. Der Check in mit der sehr freundlichen Verwalterin Stephanie war super und sie half uns auch während des Aufenthalts schnell weiter, als in der Gegend ein Stromausfall war. Wir waren mit 3 Erwachsenen und 4 Kindern vor Ort. Neben den 5 Schlafzimmern mit jeweils eigenem Bad bot das Haus alle Annehmlichkeiten, die einen schöner Aufenthalt benötigt. Die Kinder hatten viel Spaß im beheizten Pool und es wurden viele Wettkämpfe beim Tischtennis und auf der eigenen Boule Bahn ausgefochten. Wir hatten auch unseren Hund mit, der viel Spaß auf dem großen Gelände hatte und sich morgens über den Spaziergang zum Bäcker in Callad (ca. 3,5 Kilometer hin und zurück) gefreut hat. Ausflüge nach Grasse, Frejus und Saint Maximewaren alle innerhalb einer Stunde zu machen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und werden bestimmt nochmal zur Bastide de Provence kommen.

Schönes Haus mit grosszügiger Umgebung

Die Lage ist sehr gut, alles ist gut erreichbar. Das Haus ist sehr grosszügig & hat eine optimale Raumaufteilung. Jedes Zimmer verfügt über eine eigene Dusche & Lavabo. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Auch der Pool lädt zum Baden ein. Man kann draussen angenehm im Schatten sitzen und essen. Es ist jedoch keine Klimaanlage vorhanden, was in heissen Jahreszeiten schwierig ist. Die Kommunikation mit dem Host ist einwandfrei.

Schöne Ferien

Wir waren 10 Tage im La Bastide in Callas und haben es sehr genossen. Das Haus ist sehr schön und geräumig. Die Küche ist sehr gut eingerichtet, es hat alles was man braucht. Der Pool hat uns sehr gefallen. Der Garten ist sehr gross und schön mit vielen Bäumen, die uns bei der Hitze viel Schatten gespendet haben. Einziger Nachteil für uns war, dass es im Haus keine Klimaanlage hatte. Es war so heiss und das Haus konnte leider nicht abgekühlt werden obwohl wir Fenster und Fensterläden immer zu hatten.

Hier hat einfach alles gepasst :-) Wir waren ein Gruppe von 8 Motorradfahrern und wir alle waren mit der Villa absolut zufrieden. Top Ausstattung, nichts fehlt. Wir waren schon öfter in der Gegend und werden beim nächsten Mal zuerst hier schauen, ob Termine frei sind. Der einzige Nachteil, zumindest mit dem Motorrad, ist die Entfernung zum nächsten größeren Supermarkt. Aber dank genug Koffer an den Mopeds ging das auch. Für kleinere Besorgungen, gibt es ja auch einen Laden im Ort.

Very nice villa in quiet, natural surrounding - everything what's needed was there - we were there with 4 adults and 6 kids. Also not to forget the nice welcome done by Stephanie!
