"The rooms in the 4 area were to small"

"This hotel is not close to the City center but it’s so worth it. This hotel is extremely clean, the staff is very attentive and they treat you as if you are the only guest there. They also have an amazing restaurant with great food and drinks. The concierge are always available to help and have a taxi ready for you when needed. They also have a great referral for a private transportation service, (Alfredo). He will also offer private tours. "

"The host, Jorge, was very welcoming, gracious, friendly, and extremely helpful. He brought us to the airport twice to successfully find our lost luggage. He was essential to my brother and I, as we landed sick and in poor condition. Jorge took us to pharmacies to get us medicine, and grocery stores for food and supplies. He showed us many parts of the town, served as translator, and was invaluable to us for a great stay!La Casita del Abuelo is a very spacious 2-story home. It is beautifully furnished with Oaxacan art throughout. We especially liked the indoor plants, landscaped backyard, and the gas stove. Above all it, it was very clean, and came with fresh linens and towels. We would recommend La Casita del Abuelo without hesitation!"

"The house was comfortable and spacious. The beds were super comfortable. The best part was Socorro, the housekeeper, who cooked breakfast for us each day and kept everything in the house running smoothly. She cooked dinner for our family one night as well, traditional mole, which was delicious! Socorro did not speak English but the owner Ming was also super helpful and helped us with translations and making sure everything was in order.The area was above Oaxaca and an easy bus ride into town - we would definitely stay here again!"
