Flaky paint, badly kept gardens and flies in our room. We handed back the key and left. The road to the property is horrendous. Spa services were additional cost but that was expected. During the evening meal and breakfast, it was like the staff were only interested in the large coach group in attendance. Breakfast choice was ok but if you get there a bit after it opens, the choice is very limited as the large group has had it all."

"The Villa Athena is an amazing luxury hotel with an amazing location. With a direct view of Greek temples, as well as private access, sets this property apart from others. In addition the rooms are well appointed and comfortable. We also enjoyed our private balcony with direct access to the property and pool area. The staff was welcoming and attentive. I like the size of the resort as it feels more intimate and personalized. We also took advantage of the amazing restaurant as well. We will definitely return for another stay in the future."
