The house is well appointed and the hosts attention to detail was seen from the flowers and welcome note to the beach chairs she provided so we could star gaze!

Great Stay!

Mary was wonderful to deal with. She is very responsive and helpful. The house was spotless and cozy. A very comfortable stay with plenty of room. Great closets and storage space. Wonderfully decorated with a nice deck in the back. Great location with nice neighbors. We were able to access Calumet and Laurium stores and restaurants by walking. Will definitely stay again.

Great Central Location

We found the house a perfect location for Calumet restaurants, cafes, and bars. A short 45 minutes drive to Mr Bohemia was perfect combo for ski access and comforts of home. Host was a great communicator and made our stay very enjoyable. Bedrooms accommodated our family while the rest of the house was perfect for us to hang out.

Cute little place for a family in a very convenient location

My husband and I and our dog stayed here during a fall color tour of the Upper Peninsula. The house had everything we needed and was a great location between Copper Harbor, Porcupine Mountains and Houghton. Would be a wonderful stay for a young family as Mary has it all set up for kids!

Really comfortable and convenient

Great location close to shops and coffee. Comfortable home for the people and our dog, with very clean kitchen and nice bedrooms. We were greeted with beautiful flowers and our host was available quickly by text.

Great little house

It was just my wife and me, but there's room for a family. Met the owner and she was very accommodating. She had a sweet treat waiting for us in the fridge. The house was clean and homey feeling. Nice neighborhood.

Christmas in Calumet

Mary has a wonderful place and we had a great experience with her. Her place is freshly renovated, clean and comfortable with a kitchen that has more than the typically available useful items.We highly recommend her place and would gladly stay again.

Great place to stay in the Keweenaw

Plenty of space for our family. Clean and spacious. Owner highly responsive and answered all questions quickly. We've visited the Keweenaw several times in the past couple of years to visit our student at Michigan Tech, and we're finding Calumet to be a great central location to stay while we're there.

Very clean!

The property was cleaned very well. Beds were comfortable. The “office” room is located between the two bedrooms in an area at the top of the steps. This only had a child bed which we were not expecting. It is a great place to stay and very well set up if you do have children. Would recommend!

Perfect stay for us

We visited the area for Mich Tech's Winter carnival. This house is 20-minute drive from campus but we didn't mind the short drive. The house was perfect for our group of five. (We were traveling with three young adults.) The house was very clean and well stocked. Towels, bedding, dishes, dish soap, hair dryer, shampoo, body wash, all supplied. Mary was an excellent communicator and very attentive. She even left some fun "husky" hats for the group to use if we wanted to. Highly recommend.

This house was so clean! All of the essentials were provided with extras on hand if needed. Was a great fit for a family of five. Would also be friendly for babies and toddlers. I have already recommended this listing to family and friends.

Very Clean and Comfortable House

The house is clean and nicely furnished. The neighborhood is quiet and in a great spot for us for exploring the Keweenaw with day trips. There are stores nearby to pick up basic necessities, which was great as we opted to cook our own breakfasts everyday. The owner, Mary, is responsive and friendly. I would definitely recommend this home! It was just myself and my husband, but there was plenty of room for either two couples or a small family. It is set up for a baby or a toddler, and even the family dog!

Pros:This rental has a great location, and we appreciated that it was pet friendly. We also enjoyed that there were baby items available which made traveling with a young toddler a bit easier. Overall the home was clean and orderly.Cons:We were never sent a lock box code and ended up having to call the host after messages went unanswered. The host didn’t answer, but called back confused thinking we were coming the next day. Our booking information confirmed we were there on the correct day. We arrived and waited for the host to let us in the rental. When she arrived the rental was clean, but she did have some laundry to deal with and a couple housekeeping tasks to attend to. Shortly after she left we noticed and thankfully photographed some damage on floor as she texted the day after we checked out accusing us of the damage. Overall we had a nice trip, but were left with a sour taste as we try to be respectful guests.

Adorable

This 2-bedroom house had everything we needed. I was traveling withvmy daughter and her 8 month old and we were very happy to see the house was set up for kid friendly. A pack-n-play was already set up and a highchair was in the kitchen. Only improvement could offer is screens on windows to enjoy the Michigan pure cool evening air. The back deck was my absolute favorite spot for morning coffee!
