Very central
This hotel is located in the perfect place for so many of the restaurants and bars. It’s very close to some of the attractions of Calvi also. Even better if you do not have a car with you as parking is complicated.

Fantastic location in a beautiful city. The hotel is a little run down and could certainly improve, but it was very good value for money, with excellent service on human level from the quirky General Manager.

“Do you need to use the bathroom?”
Upon arrival (with 2 giant luggage bags) young receptionist in glasses introduction was, “Do you need to use our bathroom?” No, I just spent about $500 for a room here.... otherwise breakfast was delightful with a great view, room service was good and location was great.

Great location in the city center, just a block away from the harbor and all the restaurants, bar and stores. The beach and the médiéval part of the city are also walking distance. The reception manager was super nice however the receptionist that checked us out was not professional and rude. The view from the rooftop is great.

Doesn't get better than this
Check in with the manager Nathalie was great. She was very kind, welcoming, and so helpful. I arrived early in the morning and was upgraded to a large room with a balcony, which was nice bc I spent three days getting to Calvi. The hotel is very safe and the restaurant offers a stunning view of the sea, while the kitchen staff were professional. I didn't actually have breakfast but had a snafu on arrival that required a visit to the dining room, which is really quite beautiful. I would imagine waking up to dine there on a sunny day to be a nice way to start the day in this beautiful city. The location can NOT be beat: mere steps from the station, the citadel, the port...you cannot go wrong.

Good safe choice in great location
Great location just a few minutes walk from the citadel and the harbour. Large nice room, very good value for money. No parking (but cheap parking around the corner). Wifi ok but slow.

Easy walk from Calvi train station to this Hotel
It was inexpensive. We'd paid for a room with a balcony. There was no balcony. We were told, "You'll like the room we gave you." The Grand Hotel must have been very GRAND in the 1930's, judging by its staircase, dining room on the ground floor and the breakfast room on the 5th. Unfortunately, it has been allowed to age. The rooms had been "remodeled" but with cheap workmanship in the closets, the bathrooms, etc. Basically, it is old and noisy.

Great location, good value
V. pleasant stay. Very big room. Friendly employees on reception. Good air-conditioning. Top notch location. The only small criticism is that some of its grandeur is a bit faded. Certain features could do with upgrading e.g. the shower was of the hold-in-your-hand variety.

Great hotel for those travelling to Calvi by train
We enjoyed staying in this hotel. It is very near the station. The room was big and had a fridge - excellent for those with small children. The breakfast was very good in a stunning room. It is well positioned for travel by train, bus or boat to other parts of the region. The hotel is rather faded grandeur but has great character.

Noisy and with mold in shower
Stay away! Choose this hotel because it looked OK and was central - and that's about all the positive things there are to say about it. We stayed three nights on two separate bookings, so we had the "luxury" of exoeriencing tw different rooms - the first night we got a "Grand Comfort Room" (I think this is their best room), and although the room was indeed grande in size, it was so noisy that we woke up at 0630 on a Sunday morning, and were kept awake by the constant slamming of doors and moving of furniture in other rooms. The two next nights we had a Standard Room, which was much better from a noise-perspective, but it came across dirty and filthy - there was MOLD in the shower and the typical rotten smell you get when a room is too moist for a long time. It didn't help to turn off the AC and leave the windows open for hours, either.. Damp clothes wouldn't dry even when left hanging for 24+ hours, that's how humid the room was. Would not stay here again.

On arriving by car I asked at reception about parking. I was given a map with lots of suggestions including a road which was free. The room was large, bathroom spacious and had a bath. I'd booked a double but got a huge super kingsize bed which was really comfortable. Wifi wasn't great but worked sometimes. The view from the restaurant terrace is as good as it looks on the website. Everything was very clean. Only downside was the road noise. Ask for a room at the back and you will have a great stay.

Not a clean room
First the good - the hotel has decent sized rooms, ok internet, and a very central location. Unfortunately, the bathroom was grungy and the bed had dirty sheets. I won't go into details, but it put me off the place. If not for this, I would say the place is ok if you get a decent price.

Nice hotel in a great location
Perfect location right in the heart of Calvi. Front desk staff were very helpful. Excellent breakfast in top floor dining room with spectacular views out over the bay.

nice hotel , close to the action, there is no parking at the hotel but a parking lot at just about 100 meters for 2 euros for 24 hours . The room was clean , staff very nice , pretty good size room .

The hotel looks a bit soviet style in the hall, and in the corridors, but rooms are nice clean and large. I had a room with view - worth the price, street was not so noisy, location is perfect and room had nice tiles on the floor. Beautiful terrace on the top, I did not try the resto there but the view is amazing. No parking available. Tip: after unloading lagguage, continue by car up to the end of the road in the square below the citadel, do not park there (15 euro per day) but take the first on your right, there's a parking at 3 euro per day, cheap and convenient. Only 5 minutes from the hotel.

Great Location
We found the staff throughout our stay very helpful, we had one slight problem which was resolved without delay. The location is great, right in town, although we did not have a balcony and the window backed onto courtyard area it was quiet. The aircon worked well, thank goodness and made little noise. There was good secure parking for our motorcycle to the rear. We enjoyed our stay there.

Très bon rapport qualité prix:))) L’hôtel est dans son jus mais demeure très beau. Les chambres sont très spacieuses. Nous avons une jolie terrasse mais pas vue mer comme indiqué au départ. Il y a un roof top au dernier étage mais disponible uniquement pour les événements privés. Dommage! Le Check in est tardif 17 h mais en contrepartie on peut partir plus tard le lendemain. Cet hôtel mériterait de retrouver un peu les fastes d’antan en ouvrant des espaces communs avec les beaux meubles remisés dans la bagagerie.

Hotellet låg 100 m från järnvägsstationen. Mitt i centrum. Beachen 10 minuters promenad bort. Mycket trevlig och hjälpsam tjej i receptionen.

Prima hotel en bestemming.
Gezellige plaats, goede restaurants (niet aan de boulevard), leuke treinreis gemaakt naar Ile Rousse, Hotel was aangenaam. Ruime kamer, schoon, goed bed. Alleen de warmwatervoorziening was niet heel goed, regelmatig alleen koud water. Net als ik onder de douche wilde natuurlijk. Parkeren is lastig, maar in een straat achter het hotel is een klein braakliggend terrein, waar je gratis parkeren kan als er plek is.
