"We had a wonderful stay here! The restaurant on-site was absolutely delicious—definitely a highlight of our trip. Our room was also spotlessly clean and very comfortable.
The only minor downsides were that we wished the property was dog-friendly, and it would have been great if the chairs in the room had footrests for a bit of extra comfort.
That being said, the pros far outweighed the cons. We would absolutely recommend."

"Nice room. Paid for water view and while we could see the water we were actually on the side of the building and could only see the water if we stood in the far corner of the window. Was disappointed to pay the extra for water view but was looking at other buildings. Should be marketed as obstructed water view or something similar."
"Dated establishment. Broken mirror condensation on windows. Dated furniture and linens. Dirty and dated bathroom with poor water pressure and leaking faucets.
No housekeeping during 3 day stay.
Very overpriced."
"Great location with view of harbour. Walking distance to downtown, Signal Hill (although uphill), George Street, The Rooms. Great restaurant on site and close to others. Convenient parking on site."
"The Monastery was a bit of a walk to downtown..but I am in my 80s and did it.It was a bit tight for opening two big suitcases. There was a lovely Jacuzzi and lots of parking.Unfortunately we were out too much to use the amenities. Breakfast was tasty and sufficient."
