"The staff was pleasant and helpful, but accommodations definitely were beat up, outdated and in need of attention. I liked the fact that I could walk my dog each day around the pond...right up until another resident let their bigger dog loose and it charged me and my dog again and again - trying to hump her - all the way back to the safety of our room. I am 79 years old and was quite exhausted and upset about no one (not even the dog owner) coming to my aid. That dog kept charging us from different directions each time I swatted him away. It was a terribly frightening experience for both myself and my dog. I decided to only walk my dog at the nearby park afterwards. I stayed at this motel because it allowed pets, and I broght documentation that my dog was an ESA - Emotional Support Animal - but I was still charged $10 per day ($140 + tax) in addition to the room charges for my 2-week stay there. This was not called for, because I always cleaned up after my dog and she brought no bad habits to this motel - she's a clean, well behaved pet. After these experiences, all I can say is that I would never stay at Tri-Terrace Motel again."

"Had a great stay for a week at this hotel. Definitely a step up from the hotel behind it, and the location on Cook Road is nicely surrounded by various food and shopping options. The two double bed room was very spacious and the bathroom was nice, however I felt the bathroom did not have sufficient ventilation and the use of a sliding barn door on the bathroom was a bit lacking in the privacy department. The microwave being located outside of the room is a bit inconvenient, but it ended up being very close to my room. The refrigerator did not seem to get particularly cold. Staff were excellent, very helpful and kind. The pool area was clean and served as a great area to host my friends. Additionally, the rooms with balconies that come out to that area are a neat concept. The smoking gazebo is nice as a smoker, but I would appreciate a couple more being added as groups of people were occupying it at times throughout the day as a hang out spot (valid as it’s a nice spot to be.) Also some guy dropped an onion slice in there and left it (not valid.) The only major negative experience I had was when the water went out unexpectedly for a full day, That was very inconvenient as I was not able to shower, use the toilet or brush my teeth for a full day. I’m willing to consider it a fluke, but I was disappointed that it took so long to resolve. I will still happily stay at this hotel again in the future."

"loved the set up; the upstairs bedroom was like it's own on suite. I would change your note on the amentities; address that there is no boat launch on the lake; and you can bring a carry down boat. There are a couple of areas in the lake that are very shallow and can ground your boat on; one is near the shore by a home on the point between the small island and the shore on the left side. The second is in the cove farther down where there are two homes; one is brown the other is gray; just mention you will have to get in that area by staying close to those homes. It might be worth while to set a mooring post to on the shore to tie boats up to; that would prevent boats from drifting off. I can tell you that you have a lot of legal sized bass in the lake because they were spawning, and multiple ones were jumping out of the water. Great to watch, but it made it tough to fish; not your fault. I don't know if the batteries in the dartboard were getting weak; it would come on, but not keep score. Could be I couldn't figure it out. If its working, may need to post instructions on using. Big thumbs up to the bowling alley in town; we went there one night and got a bundle to bowl and mini golf; good entertainment. There was not a easy hole on that course; the staff there were great. I would mention you have a dvd/vcr combo and tell people to bring their own movies, as I did not see a collection. The cottonwood can be problem for allergy sufferers. Worth mentioning."

"Lovely little getaway in the woods. They had everything you needed for a relaxing weekend. Everything was very clean and organized. Our group enjoyed the pool and pool table! I highly recommend booking here."

"I booked this property primarily for the little beach for my kids to play in. The water is currently so high that there’s no beach at all. Not anyone’s fault, of course, but updated pictures would give a more accurate idea of what the property actually is like currently."

"This rental was impressive and outlived our expectations. We had twelve people and fit them all comfortably in this space. The host was very communicative and responded to questions within ten minutes. The ice machine was top notch! The dream and nightmare are BYOB and the thought of having an ice machine was very impressive. Beautiful location, close enough to town for groceries but far enough away where the beauty of nature is at your door. We will be back."
