"A great value - everything we needed for our short stay. Very clean, tastefully decorated, conveniently located. We didn't realize it was a duplex, but at the end of the day, it really didn't make a difference. Claudia is an excellent and very responsive host!"

"The hotel was in a great location. It was close enough to everything, but still far enough away. The breakfast was delicious and had a lot of options. Staff were always friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Anchorage for vacation. My only complaint is that the bathroom door was very hard to open and close."

"This was our first time ever using VRBO (or any similar service). It’s a little odd using someone else’s home but we wanted the sq ft and amenities of an actual home. Let me start by saying the owner is an AMAZING host. We booked about nine months early and he answered every stupid, tedious question from someone from LA who knows nothing about Alaska. He offered suggestions for activities and basic needs. The reindeer farm outside Palmer was the absolute BEST suggestion. We did have a problem upon arrival (nothing he would have caught without being told specifically) and he not only fixed the issue quickly but compensated us for the trouble. 6 stars for the host. The property is great. The photos make you think you’re in the middle of nowhere but you’re actually in a neighborhood. This was a little surprising at first but the truth is, you wouldn’t know it because it’s so quiet. Walk out the back door and you’re in nature. Walk out the front door and you’re 10 minutes from everything you could possibly need. We were in the two bed unit but there is a one and three bed unit all connected so you have choices. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a place to launch from in Anchorage."
