  • Welcome to the enchanting Forest Edge Retreat, an idyllic sanctuary nestled amidst the serene landscapes of Fancy Gap. This sublime retreat is part of the acclaimed Buffalo Mountain Getaway collection and is distinguished as a SuperHost location. Perfectly situated, it`s only an 8-minute drive from I-77 and a quick 15-minute journey to the heart of Mt Airy.

    Perfect for a party of four, our meticulously designed accommodations include a luxurious master bedroom furnished with a plush king bed and an equally charming guest bedroom featuring a cozy queen bed. Both are havens of tranquility to unwind after a day of exciting activities.

    For our active guests, enjoy hitting a few golf balls into the field, or bring your bow and do a little target practice. For the lovers of tranquility and nature, the front porch is the perfect place to relax, observe the local wildlife and soak in the surrounding serenity.

    When in the mood for an outdoor barbecue, there`s a high-powered gas grill at your disposal. Elevate your mountain getaway experience at our Forest Edge Retreat, where comfort meets the wilderness.
    Just a few reminders:
    1 - Pets allowed with permission, MAX 2 dogs, sorry NO cats.
    2 - Absolutely NO Smoking on the property
    3 - Please do not move furniture
    4 - You`ll be staying in a cabin in the woods. We apologize now if bugs make it into the cabin between cleaning and your arrival. That`s just cabin life. We have pest control service, but the bugs are smarter :)
    5 - Keep it clean. When you leave it should look the same as you entered, with the exception of bed linens and towels
    6 - Remember it`s our home, so treat it with respect
    7 - Grill is propane.
