The hotel staff forced us to pay an additional parking fee of $14 per car, even though this charge was not clearly mentioned during the booking process. This felt misleading and unfair, especially since we only found out after arriving. It seemed like an attempt to take advantage of customers with unexpected fees. Very disappointing experience, and I would not book this hotel again.

This is a great place to stay in downtown Ottawa. It is conveniently located in easy walking distance to Parliament Hill, the National Gallery and the Market. Our room was clean and functional, with decent lighting by hotel standards, good WiFi, and a comfortable chair. There was a Nespresso machine in the room and on demand they can provide a kettle and tea bags. The only downside is the off-site parking. It's a bit of a hike and the parking spaces are quite narrow with a concrete pillar one one side. Overall, a nice place at a reasonable price.
