We’ve stayed here several times and are never disappointed. Only complaint is if you can’t check in until 3:00 and are steered to the office to stow the luggage, may we suggest the office stay open until 3:00.

We had a wonderful time here exploring the Isla with our family. We had a golf cart and every part of the island was easily accessible in a few minute drive in the cart. The back porch with pool was perfect for sunrises over the Caribbean. We would definitely return. Thank you!

From the first minute to the last, this was an awesome trip. The house is great and in a good location on the island. I cannot say enough about Mundaca Realty. Every single one of the folks there are great. Excellent service with excellent personality! I felt like I could call them for anything including sightseeing advice! Did not need to do a lot of sightseeing, we could hardly bring ourselves to leave the house and THAT VIEW!

We had a beautiful stay at Casa Nido Del Gallo in our first trip to Isla Mujeres. The location of the home was perfect. Centrally located on the island, it was close to all points of interest for us. The home itself is clean and beautifully maintained. The pool and location on the water made it very luxurious. The number and size of bedrooms was perfect for our group. The countless bathrooms made it so there was always one available. The size and layout of the kitchen, dining area and main indoor living area was wonderful. There was plenty of room to spread out for all meals and gatherings. I would highly recommend Casa Nido Del Gallo to anyone considering a stay on Isla Mujeres.

We loved our stay at this house. Layout of the home is perfect as everyone has their own space and bathroom. The outdoor area was perfect and you get a great sunrise view from the comfort of your home. Outdoor bathroom was a plus and used often. There were no complaints with the house and the management staff was great to work with! My only recommendation is if they could provide an extra blanket in the bedrooms, i get cold and the air blows directly on you (which my husband loved). Location of house is perfect and we will definitely rent again. Highly recommended:)

I was a part of 3 couples that stayed at Nido del Gallo for 10 days in February. It's a beautiful new house with 3 bedrooms, each with en suite bathroom. The kitchen, living, and dining all form one big open space for eating, drinking, and hanging out. Large double sliders lead to a covered outdoor patio adjoining the outdoor, oceanfront patio. Great views of the ocean are had from well inside the house. Unlike most other houses on Isla that I have stayed in, the seating inside and outside at Nido del Gallo was plentiful and comfortable. We are already booked for next year!

Loved the house. Pool was great. Beach towels provided. Lots of space. Comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed for making breakfast before scuba diving. Each bedroom having its own bathroom was awesome. Heck in was great and communication through the what’s app (recommended for any travel in Mexico) was fast and easy. Would trim end and stay at again. Convenient to all areas of the island 5 min to the main town on the island. And the docks for the all of the water based excursions. Don’t hesitate. Great place.

Casa Nido de Gallo was fabulous! The whole process was smooth & easy with the rental company & Chema the property manager. They were both very quick to answer questions & help us prepare for our trip. Chema helped us check in on arrival & even called a taxi for us on our last day. He was always very responsive & nice. The location of the house is perfect right in the middle of the island. The house is beautiful inside & out, & was equipped with everything we needed including pool floats. We enjoyed the pool after a long day at the beach & enjoyed walking down on the beach in the mornings & evenings.The owners truly thought of every little detail. We can't wait to go back!

We just got back from a week at Casa Nido Del Gallo. The house is beautiful and the view is amazing! Yazmin and Kate from Mundaca were the best to work with both prior to the trip and after our arrival. We booked a golf cart through them as well as our airport transfers and everything went smoothly. This was our first trip to Isla Mujeres and we loved it. We thoroughly enjoyed spending time at the house as well as exploring the island. Many wonderful places to eat and amazing beaches and scenery throughout the island. We liked the location being mid island, a short golf ride to either end. The location of the home is very peaceful and quiet as well. The house is well equipped and we loved having 3 master bedrooms with private baths. A great vacation and we hope to come back to the island soon!

We loved our stay at Nido del Gallo. Using WhatsApp made communication very easy. Management team was very responsive. Pool is not heated which is normal but just be aware of that. Beach is nice to walk when tide is lower, especially if you like looking for sea glass. It was great to have bottled water coolers on both floors. House is along the airport on the east (gulf) side so there is quick access to downtown by golf cart and not too far from the south end of the island. Gated parking area can hold 2 regular golf carts if you park carefully. Cons: Two of the beds were a little hard but hopefully that will get addressed. Some of the shower heads could use replacing too.

Property has an excellent view but the kitchen is covered in ants to include the walls, cabinets and countertops. Beds were hard as a rock and the third bedroom is not a king size bed as the advertisement states. Coffee maker didn’t work, outside toilet was leaking all over the floor when we checked in. Bedroom walls are covered in dust. Floor was covered in sand.

We visit Isla multiple times a year but this was our first time staying at Casa Nido del Gallo. The home is in a great mid island location with a beautiful view from the main living area and 2 of the upstairs bedrooms. The home had everything you need for a wonderful vacation. The management and cleaning staff couldn’t have been more accommodating. I would definitely recommend this home. However, a couple of notes I hope may help others: 1) all of the bedrooms are on the second floor and the stairs were a tad steep, though they had a good railing. This was an issue for one of my elderly parents. Something to consider if you’re traveling with small children or adults with difficulty climbing 2) while the views out the back are beautiful there is no direct beach access. The online pics don’t really show that. You can access it a couple lots south but it is extremely rocky and not accessible for those who have difficulty walking. All in all though we had a great stay.

Beautiful and spacious, this house was just exactly what we were looking for during our week at Isla Mujeres. Everything worked flawlessly. Our family of 4 had more than enough room, and everyone felt very relaxed in the nicely-furnished rooms. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals from food we bought at Chedraui (about a mile walk south). We enjoyed the small pool on the patio, the sandy beach and rocks directly below, and swimming in the ocean beyond. We walked up and down the beach at the tideline each day, enjoying the soft sand (though it gets rocky some ways to the south). We snorkeled in the reef just outside the house, but the waves were often too rowdy for comfort. On the flip side, the rowdy waves were endlessly entertaining to watch at sunrise with hot coffee, or in the evening with a nice glass of wine. El Centro was an easy walk along the road and Malecon East; however, with a quiet, secluded beach just outside the door of the house, there seemed little need to walk up to the crowds and blaring music at Playa Norte. Almost anytime of day a taxi can be hailed from the front of the house if needed, which we did on one occasion to save time. The house sits on a busy road, but once inside the house the traffic noise isn't noticeable. Overall, really enjoyed the stay.

Casa Nido del Gallo is a beautiful property full of all the amenities one could need while on vacation in Isla. It is centrally located to the both the North and South end of the Island. The open concept of this property is inviting and encourages complete relaxation while overlooking the Ocean. The bedrooms are all beautifully decorated to match the Mexican culture and local craftsmanship. Beds are extremely comfortable, all rooms have closets and the 5 bathrooms are well stocked. No need to bring anything other than your swimsuit, flip flops, a book and sunscreen. Be sure to rent a golf cart so that you can enjoy all the Island has to offer. We enjoyed exploring every nook and cranny of this place as well as enjoying some excellent restaurants close to the home and in town (Olivia, Mango Cafe, Nash's, Casa Rolandi, Fenix Lounge, Soggy Peso, Lolitas, and so many more). We didn't have one bad meal. If you don't want to eat out, no worries, the home has a full service kitchen and the mega-grocery, Chaudrai is just down the road so you can stock up and enjoy the true beauty of this property! Be sure to head to the Southpoint, great locale for a bite to eat and an unique museum/park with walking trails down and along the cliffs. Thank you the owners and property management for helping to make our stay a relaxing and enjoyable time. We hope to be back again soon!

Casa Nido del Gallo is exactly what you see in the pictures. This was our second trip to the island and our group of 3 couples enjoyed our week here. It has a convenient mid-island location, but there are no bars or restaurants within what we considered walking distance. We rented a golf cart for the week and were glad we did! Beautiful view from the back of the house and easy access to the beach. We enjoyed walking the beach and picking up shells and sea glass. There are just a few things that keep this from being a 5 star place: 1) While it has a very convenient location, it is on a busy road and you kind of feel like you are taking your life into your hands trying to get the golf cart out of the parking area. 2) The pool deck is very small - only two lounge chairs, and the pool is totally shaded by about 11:00 every morning. It is not a heated pool, so the water was way too cool for us to even get in during our Jan/Feb stay. 3) There is a very small "crows nest" up on the third floor. It has beautiful views of the island, sunrises and sunsets, but there is only room for 3 beach chairs (not lounge chairs). This is the best place to get some sun on the property, but very cramped. If you are looking for a place with plenty of room to spread out and lounge in the sun and enjoy the pool, you could probably find better options. Luckily, our group likes to go out and explore the island, finding different bars and restaurants every day, and we loved it!

Overall, good experience except the last day (major issue). The good: -Property cleanliness, decor, completeness of amenities -Pictures were accurate, view, neighborhood, etc all exceptional -Concierge (Chema) was very responsive to questions & requests. -Great checkin process Not so good: -MAJOR issue: All our utility got cut off on the last day of our stay. Utility company came and shut off power, water, gas, etc and said the owner did not pay the bill. We had no ac, cannot flush toilet, cannot shower, cannot wash things. It was miserable. We raised to concierge and maintenance and only got told that they were working on it. No compensation of any sort. -Responding to issues (see above) Concierge is good at responding, but only forwards issues/requests and cannot stay on the resolve -washer & dryer would be nice -No thicker blankets, only sheet cover. They said that’s all the owner offers. We have to run AC and close doors due to mosquitos. But bed only has cover. For someone who gets cold easily u will be freezing. Suggest have thicker blankets in the closet.

I’m torn about writing this review because I want to keep this house all to myself! But I was searching for reviews of the house prior to our trip and wished more people reviewed the house. So I will share my thoughts. This house is great and location is perfect! Our party included my husband, our one year old child and my in-laws stayed for 10 days. The open floor plan on the bottom level was perfect for our group to hangout. The kitchen was fully stocked except there was no oven. But the gas stove met our needs. All three bedrooms are upstairs. All the bedroom had its own bathroom (showers). Two identical master bedrooms faced the Caribbean and slightly smaller guest bedroom faced the street. Spectacular sunrises from the master bedrooms. There were shades in all the bedroom so if you don’t want to wake up to the sunrise you have that option. The furniture in the living room and beds were comfortable. Hand soap and small bars of bath soaps were stocked in the bathrooms, but definitely bring your own toiletries. Hair dryers, toilet paper, tissue paper and paper napkins were also provided. Plenty of bath towels and beach towels were provided as well. The house was very clean, comfortable and nicely decorated! The pool faced the Caribbean so we got full sun in the morning and shade in the afternoon. We spent a lot of time in the pool to cool off from heat. The pool guy came by twice to clean early in the morning. There were a couple of swim floats at the pool to enjoy. The maid came by once to do a full cleaning. There were plenty of 5 gallon containers of drinking water provided. The house is located by the airport. No issues with noise there because it seems like the airport was not used. You will hear some noise from cars both inside and outside of the house. It was no big deal for us. Our son slept right through all the noises. The house is less than a 5 minute drive to centro and less than 10 minute drive to Chedraui (the large supermarket). The location was perfect. We were also given a local cell phone to use while on the Island. We didn’t use it often but it was nice if we got to go or food delivery. We were able to also get in touch with the house manager or the rental agency easily as well. Love the house and can’t wait to come back the next time we visit Isla.
