Joseph was the desk manager who checked us in. During our stay he most helpful -- spot on for dining and travel. Hotel was excellent for travel to Banff and locations within the three national parks.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The room was one of the cleanest we’ve ever stayed in, and the staff was so helpful. There’s complimentary tea and coffee and free bike rental. We would definitely stay here again! Just know there’s no elevator, so you’ll have to climb a flight of stairs to get to your room. We’d only give the location 4 stars because the hotel is about a 15-minute walk from the closest bus stop that returns from Banff Town Center. That said, we’d definitely stay here again!

Very walkable to restaurants and groceries within Canmore. The studio was especially useful. Check in was online but was easy and I was able to reserve early check in (paid) in advance. Air conditioning and hot water worked.

The room was modern, clean and large. The staff were very friendly. However, the hotel is located beside the train tracks. Our room looked onto the mountains and the tracks. The train passes by multiple times during the night. We counted it at least 5 times between midnight and 6am. Maybe the rooms facing Bow Valley Trail are quieter, but I can’t recommend the hotel because of the train noise.

This is a great place to stay in Canmore. Good location, clean, comfortable bed, and loved the added amenity of a speciality coffee machine and a large common area with tables and chairs. You should note that there is no elevator, so my husband who walks with a cane had some difficulty, and carrying our heavy bag up a flight of stairs was not easy. Otherwise, great place.

The staff were very helpful. The room was very clean. The location is walkable to downtown. Parking was easy as well. There’s a coffee bar and open space to relax and eat meals which was great. The only concern is that the train passes near the lodge every few hours. It’s not very loud and we were mostly able to sleep through it. Ear plugs were provided by the lodge as well.

From the moment we walked in the staff was super friendly. The whole time we were there the staff never missed speaking to us, asking if we needed anything and when we asked they answered. We highly recommend this Lodge.

Great place. Close to restaurants and breweries. Train right behind the building, with fairly frequent trains going through, but frequency seemed to drop off during the night. I would recommend Base Camp Canmore.
