We had a pretty solid experience. The rooms were nice and the breakfast was decent. We had a major power outage during our stay and got moved from one hotel to another after booking months in advance. We also had some considerations with our shower.

Furniture in the room was pretty old. Room was not updated in a while. Not a terrible place to stay. Didn't used any of the facilities. It worked for us. We of course got the room across the hall from the ice and vending machine. Basically outside the door. However, since the weather was not warm, nobody used the ice machine during our stay.

My family stayed at Sunset Mountain Inn and spa for 4 nights. The staff (Jackie and Ruth) were so welcoming and amazing. Our place was clean with all the amenities we needed. Pool and hot tub was a hit after a long day of walking. Views from our balcony was stunning. Bed was comfortable. My only concern was my bedroom curtains were not blackout so at 5:30am sunrise, brightness woke me up. I would definitely go back here and recommend it. You wont regret it.
