Pesaro Palace

"Hotel Pesaro is, in every single aspect, the absolute best hotel. First of all, the location is unbeatable; it is right by the Ca' d'Oro station, meaning the trip from the train station took just 10 minutes. The feeling of opening the hotel windows as soon as we arrived, sitting on the balcony, and taking in the Venice Grand Canal and the sunset was joyful beyond words. It is also in a very convenient location, with the Rialto Bridge and St. Mark's Basilica just a 10 to 15-minute walk away, and plenty of great restaurants and dessert places nearby. The rooms were spotlessly clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated with a luxurious, classic Italian interior. The high ceilings and spacious rooms and bathrooms gave our family plenty of space and comfort throughout our stay. The breakfast was also delicious, and the dining area had a wonderful interior. Having breakfast while enjoying the beautiful view outside the window brought another layer of joy to our family. I can confidently say that this is the best hotel ever."

"Air conditioning didn’t work for our stay. We told the front desk multiple times and they didn’t bother to take care of that. At one point the receptionist told to keep the window open. So our stay was very uncomfortable. They charged the whole amount at check-in and didn’t care to provide any compensation. Room was very nice and clean, breakfast was good. I would suggest future guests to check air conditioning of their rooms before paying at the time of check-in. Summer days are really unbearable without AC."

"This was a very good hotel we got the split level room with the beds upstairs lots of space. Awesome room if you don't mind stairs. The food at the breakfast room was adequate could use some help especially the cold scrambled eggs and the attendannts were not friendly.. So this hotel is smack in the middle of a residential area with completely dead streets by 10:00 p.m. which were beautiful but a little scary. Big pluses, there is a big supermarket less than a 5 minute walk also the water bus stand another five minute walk. A 10 to 15 minute walk puts you right in the middle of the touristy area. overall it's a very nice hotel great home base to explore beautiful Venice which in my opinion is literally a living postcard! I would definitely stay here again. My most important tip... If you are leaving Venice by the airport invest on a water taxi coming to pick you up at the hotel. the water bus service can be unreliable and VERY crowded we ended up missing our flight and had to purchase brand new tickets. 160 Euro water taxi ride versus 2,700 for new tickets."
