I love the rooftop pool . I love the beds had the best sleep ever. The hotel is close to all the best restaurants , beach clubs and shopping Hermes , pep amazing place to stay. The entire staff is is wonderful. The hotel is super clean. The cleaning staff is the best . I love this hotel !

Loved this hotel. Pool is so perfect for the warm months in Cannes, great location with walking distance to town and right near station. Only downside was breakfast was terrible and located on a really busy road so was noisy at night.

Nice quirky hotel close to the railway station and town. A few things didn’t work like plug to bath didn’t fit at all, room key didn’t always work either. But staff were really helpful in getting us a kettle instead of coffee machine, rooftop pool was nice and towels provided. Breakfast was €19.00 which we didn’t have.

Staff extremely helpful. Hotel is only a fairly short walk to the shops and beach via a couple of flights of steps near to the station. Breakfast very good. Home made cakes are superb, fresh orange juice machine extremely useful although bacon always undercooked. Nice room and nearby 2 lifts were no issue at all.

This hotel is great and is very good value for money. Super convenient for the train and bus station to explore the entire Côté d’Azur. No long walks back to the hotel after your journey and the option to do some sunbathing on the rooftop pool if you’re too tired to go to the beach. Bike rental and suitcase storage in the suitcase shop opposite the train station. Had a really nice massage at the spa facility next to the hotel. Bars, restaurants and shops galore. Hotel is cleaned daily and breakfast is good. Only complaint there wasn’t any bottles of wine to buy at the bar and it’s a bit inconvenient using the lift to buy drinks for the rooftop pool, a waiter service for drinks and snacks at the pool would make this hotel perfect.

A fabulous location with friendly reception staff. Unfortunately our room was a little run down in quality and across the hotel there were several things that were broken or not working. If you’re after a great pool and location and don’t mind too much about the quality of the room then this is good value.

Fine location behind the trin station and close to the city center. Hotel i old but rooms are refurbished and beds are comfortable. Rooftop pool is small but Nice and clean. Garage works very well.

Lovely short break in Cannes

Had a lovely 2 night stay here as part of our holiday to the south of France. The receptionist was lovely (sorry can't remember his name) and he allowed us to check in early. Good location as very near the train station and not far to the old town and the main street with all the designer shops and beachfront restaurants. Nice pool on the rooftop - would have been nice to have had a rooftop bar too but overall thoroughly enjoyed and would return.

We had a great experience staying at the BW. The area was very safe , few minutes walking distance to all the restaurants and shopping plus la Croisette . The staff was very nice , polite and accommodating . We thank specifically Arnaud !! He accommodated us immediately though we arrived early . Our room was very nice and big with a balcony . We will definitely stay here again when we come back to Cannes

It really is a nice hotel, with great location. They can definitely make the "common areas" really nice, without spending too much money! The pool towels--need new, better towels! It has the best access to bus and train stations--but their website does not provide instructions! What a shame. It's perfectly located!

I stayed at the hotel for around 8 nights and I had an amazing stay there. The staff are all very friendly, and professional and they make you feel at home. The location of the hotel is very convenient. The train station is 2 minutes walk and the centre of the town and La Croisette are just over five minutes. The view of the hills from the rooftop pool is amazing. My special thanks to the manager of the hotel Arnaud and Lucas who made my stay exceptionally pleasant. Merci beaucoup les gars! I would stay in the Western Best Plus when I visit Cannes again.

The staff were lovely and attentive however there were a lot of problems with the hotel and the room. There were many things missing, room slippers, any toiletry kits such as toothbrush and toothpaste , sewing kits etc. We had really bad bites around our body which looked like bed bug bites which is super concerning but I couldn’t confirm this so I don’t want to definitively say it was this but we couldn’t sleep one night due to extreme itching in bed. The location was very convenient and close to the train station and sea side area. The corridors were so dark and barely any light had an eerie feeling as well as the lift. There isn’t an individual iron in each room but rather an ironing room which is quite inconvenient. Phone inside the room was difficult to use and didn’t have clear instructions on how to get through to reception, I pressed every button but it didn’t go through.

Our stay at this hotel was saved only by the location and breakfast. The location is excellently placed right behind the train station in the central Cannes. The hotel was clean, and the breakfast buffet was small but had varied choice (mostly continental with a small amount of hot food). However, we only found out the spa is closed indefinitely when at the hotel, and also found out that despite nil warning on their website the pool was also closed. This should not be advertised as a spa hotel and the pool seasonal availability dates should be clearly advertised. We did receive small amount for compensation for these disappointments but would only recommend this hotel if you are not planning on staying in the hotel much.
