"We’ve stayed at many properties, but Patrick is undoubtedly the best host we’ve ever had. Hospitable, knowledgeable, responsive, friendly. The property was perfect for our party of 5. We did breakfast 2 days, which was great. And the toucan off the porch MADE the visit. Tons of birds around. Lovely stay!"

"Absolutely magical. Pictures do not do Malekus Mountain Lodge justice - it's truly so special and lovely, a work of art not just a place to stay. Roger and Rosey were kind, attentive hosts. The location was beautiful. We had wonderful breakfasts on site and a fantastic dinner just 600 meters away. With only 7 rooms and an intimate feel, this would be a perfect place for a family reunion, small destination wedding, or friends trip. Do know going in that the rooms are small and intimate, and there is no air-conditioning. However, the climate was temperate and the rooms and lodge are well-suited and comfortable. We loved everything about our stay - except for that we didn't get to stay longer! Already hoping to come again!!"

"We loved our stay at this property, we were shown around by Angie who seemed to be the animal whisperer. Wherever we went we saw all sorts of animals, monkeys, sloths, toucans, humming birds and so many more. It’s a beautiful paradise and we loved every minute we had here. We were sad to have to move on when we did. Thankyou so much for looking after us so well."
