"This is a very old minor castle that’s been converted to a hotel. There is no air conditioning, so some of the rooms on the upper floor can get quite warm in late summer.
The property is in a very remote location in a tiny village surrounded by vineyard. There aren’t many options for eating, but the good news is that the food at this place is quite outstanding, some of the best food you can find anywhere. The hotel is run by a family with some of the friendliest staff we’ve seen anywhere. We...
"This place was spotless and very entertaining. Very modern and that threw us a bit. The owner was amazing and welcomed us and walked us through the electronic stuff. "
"Lovely hotel in a spectacular location. Convenient to all touring. Very comfortable rooms and facilities. The restaurant is excellent. Breakfast also was very good. Staff very helpful."
"Well kept and clean rooms. We had a relaxing time in the hot tubs and sauna during the evening, and the breakfast had everything we needed. All while enjoying the stunning views.
The owners were welcoming and we felt at ease the whole stay. We got good recommendations for dinner places and local sights.
Would definitely book again and recommend!"

"Incredible location and an unforgettable experience! Jane, the owner, took great care of us the entire time we were there. All the staff were super friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this amazing place —10/10!!!"
"Beautiful views in a town high up surrounded by grapes. Friendly owner didn't speak English but managed to show us where to park. The most memorable part of the experience was the restaurant downstairs - excellent, local dishes. One of the best meals we had in Italy. Waiter shaved truffles onto our pasta!"
"Reception was kind and welcoming, but the room (Dolcetto) was very odd. Tried to find it charming, a long cave, but it's strange. The foot of the bed is right upon the curtains on the opposite wall.
Sleep was the big problem. The room sits over the socializing courtyard and restaurant. The mild thump of music continued into the evening, followed after closing by voices laughing in the courtyard below the room. The drapes are too thin to block out the light in the courtyard.
Finally, the restaurant was a very unhappy experience. An indifferent reception upon arrival by Ingrid turned cold when we asked if we could sit near the window. The food was unimpressive.
With a penalty assesed of one extra night stay, we were permitted to move to another vineyard based property in Diano D'Alba."
