Canton of Lucerne Holidays

Room was spacious, good shuttle (bit full) and close to a Subway outlet. Small restaurant in hotel looked reasonable but ate at Subway. Close to airport.

The property itself is in a great location, directly opposite Cadorna station so great if you have an early flight. The room was very spacious, decor was lovely and it was very clean. We were disappointed that the building was covered in scaffolding, so we didn't get any natural light in the apartment for the 2 nights of our stay and also couldn't make the most of the balcony. I appreciate that it isn't the hosts fault but it would have been nice to be informed. Communication wasn't the best. The check in was 2pm but we were informed when we entered the property that this has to be delayed as the shower was broken. When we eventually got into the room, the shower was working but we didn't have any hot water for the duration of our stay, which was unfortunate given the hear in Milan during our stay, we couldn't get a proper shower as the water was just too cold.

The room is very basic but clean and modern. The hotel is on a busy street but the windows are well insulated and it was very quiet at night. The breakfast was very good; lots of fresh ingredients and delicious breads. The only thing that would have made the room better would have been softer beds and more than one pillow. Each bed only had a thin, flat pillow which was not enough for us. Great location, though and quiet, efficient A/C. Would stay again.

Very easy to access. Right next to the train station. The sauna was not working but it was an otherwise excellent stay.
