"A Memorable Stay at Veranda Grand Baie Hotel & Spa – Warmth and Hospitality at Its Finest From the moment we arrived at Veranda Grand Baie Hotel & Spa, we were enveloped in a sense of genuine warmth and hospitality that truly set the tone for our entire stay. The welcome we received from the staff was nothing short of amazing – warm smiles, gracious greetings, and a sincere eagerness to make us feel right at home. The check-in process was one of the most intimate and pleasant we’ve ever experienced. Rather than feeling transactional or rushed, it was relaxed and personalized, making us feel like valued guests rather than just another booking. We appreciated the attention to detail and the thoughtful way everything was explained to us. Throughout our stay, every member of the staff continued to impress us with their friendliness and professionalism. Whether we were passing by reception, dining, or simply relaxing on the property, we were always met with warm greetings and helpful attitudes. "We stayed at C Mauritius for 12 nights for our honeymoon, from 15th June 2025. We’d read about the East Coast of Mauritius being particularly windy in Mauritian “winter” but the amazing reviews made it a risk worth taking. And the reviews aren’t wrong! We loved every minute of our stay at C Mauritius Palmar. From the room and terrace (a Prestige suite) and welcome gifts, to the delicious food and drinks, beautiful pools and beach, and most important of all, the friendly and professional service from all staff - it exceeded our expectations! This was our first time in Mauritius and the hotel team made us feel so welcome. They speak English and French (and other languages like Italian), are always happy to help and helped us organise a driver to other parts of the island quickly (thanks Olivier)! We want to thank Jai, Jasmine, Vicky, Abishek, Moon, the chefs and so many others on the service team whose names we didn’t get. Catherine makes incredible eggs and omelettes! Vidhi and colleagues at reception were a pleasure to speak with. Reshma and Mega were wonderful message therapists in the spa ❤️ thanks too to the housekeeping, laundry and gardening teams for doing such a great job every day!
