Great location
We spend 2 weeks in the holiday house from Stefania. We had a great time. The house remained cool while outside it was very hot. The garden had a very nice spot with a dinnertable. There were all sorts of gardenchairs. Our dog had much space in the very nice garden where you could sit in the sun but there was also shadow. We visited many nice places, Lucca, Pisa, Vinci, Pistoa, Forte Di Marme, the garden of villa Reale and villa Grabau. We had a lovely time.

Stefania's Holiday House
Stefania was a most gracious host. She was always helpful when we had questions, suggested great restaurants and sights to see and addressed any issues promptly. We used the house as a winter getaway from the cold of New Hampshire, but also found time to visit sights such as Lucca, Cinque Terres and the Chianti trail. The house was very nice inside, but tended to be cold due to the stone walls. We used the Kitchen fireplace every evening and it was warm and comfortable but it only heated the kitchen area. Gas heating was expensive so we tended to keep the thermostats turned down. The comforter on the bed kept us very comfortable at night. All in all we had a nice relaxing time and enjoyed the house very much. We would go back again, but not in winter.

Just an amazing time!
We just returned from 7 WONDERFUL days at Stephania's Holiday House. From the moment we drove up to the property it was breathtaking. Stephania greeted us and showed us all the essentials of the property. She gave us wonderful recommendations to nearby restaurants and the food was excellent. The convenient locations of the property allowed us day trips to Florence, Pisa, Lucca, and Venice. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the back terrace and of course our wine in the evening outside as well. I highly recommend this property and look forward to returning in the future.

Perfect location to explore Tuscany
The villa was in the perfect location for exploring the Tuscan region. We fell in love with Lucca and the villa had all the necessities for making our holiday like home from home including the lovely dog that lives next door but roams from house to house in the the small complex We visited Siena, Florence, Collodi and along the West coast for the beaches Beautiful country and amazing places to visit Stephania was so helpful in pointing out all the villa's amenities and advising us of the area and when we had any queries she was so very helpful

Happy in Capanori
Stefania's house is well located and in a stunning position with views across olive groves to the mountains beyond. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need. It is only 15 minutes to Lucca and about 45/50 minutes to a lovely beach. A good supermarket is 10 minutes away. The only downside for me was that the shower cubicle was rather small. Overall a great place to stay

A little piece of heaven...
This house is all we had hoped and more. Beautifully renovated with the perfect mix of rustic Tuscan charm and modern convenience. The outside is as well furnished as inside with plenty of opportunities to relax and enjoy the mountain views. Our hostess Stefania couldn't have been more friendly or helpful. We hope to return next year. Highly recommended.

perfect hideaway
We stayed already with Stefania in 2023, she is the perfect host. The house is equipped with everything you need, very clean and very stylish. The location, 7 km outside Lucca, is excellent and ideal for day trips to the surrounding area. We are already looking forward to seeing Stefania again next year

Cute little house for a short vacation
Hi there, We (my wife and I) spent about 1 week at the house. The house is small and cute and comes with all basics amenities for the first days. The garden is nice, especially if you have kids or a small dog. When it is warm one can sit and have meals outside. During out trip in early march it was still a little cold, so we didn‘t use this opportunity too much. The house has a fireplace, which makes the whole house and clothes smell like cold smoke, even though we didn’t use the fire place. No big issue but good to know. For our 1 week stay we had additional costs of about 120 Euros for electricity and gas. Since the house is somewhat older and not very well insulated, expect higher energy needed to heat/cool the house than you are used to. The house is reachable by car, i would not recommend trying to use public transport in that area. Going shopping and out to eat is definitely reliant on always driving everywhere. There are however nice areas to walk throughout the Tuscan fields close by. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend to other guests as well. If the opportunity comes again, we will happily come back.

Wunderbar renoviertes Haus mit Garten, sehr gut für Hunde geeignet. Ruhige Lage etwas abseits, Auto auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert. Gastgeberin sehr herzlich und unkompliziert. Wir waren knapp 4 Wochen dort und haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt!
