"We have stayed in a number of Gites in the Dordogne for a number of years now but this one is by far the best place we’ve stayed in. The location being 10 minutes drive to Bergerac airport and within easy access to the Bastide towns makes it an ideal base to explore the area. The property has everything you need and the manager, Chrystelle was so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We would definitely return to Fontoursine again in future"

"Lets begin with the good things: a lovely terrace with a great view and enough space inside for a small family. A few minor points however: the house was not clean when we arrived, there was no television (and I love the Tour the France so i had appreciated it if the landlords had told us), there was no wifi (we knew that beforehand) and the matrasses in the two-beds bedroom were below minimum level. So, all in all, we were a bit disappointed. "

"Beautiful property and ideal for a family or a group of friends. Very peaceful and the location is great for exploring the region. Pool is a nice edition and the outside eating areas are a good size. The hosts are fantastic and will help with any queries you have and give plenty of advice regarding things to see and do. "We were a grouo of 22 adults and children ranging from 2-12. There were 2 great pools on the property, beautiful views across the fields and we were completely undisturbed during our stay. The stars at night were amazing!!! The accomodation is clean and practical for a large group. Lots of nooks and crannys for children to explore! "The accommodation was comfortable and the host was very friendly. Thé gîte is in a good area if you want to use it as a base for touring. The swimming pool is a delight. Most of the day out touring followed by a swim at teatime. Great combination. Oh and the biscuits were great. Thank you."
