    Rent a boat and explore our beautiful islands, spend some time fishing right off the dock, take a dip in the heated pool, relax in the sun with a good book and last but not least enjoy a delicious BBQ dinner at sunset on the nicely lit patio – how do days like that sound? This is what Southern Dream is all about. Southern Dream is located in a quiet divine neighborhood in desirable SW Cape Coral at the end of a Cul de Sac. It is situated on a beautiful wide canal and has a spacious boat dock with a lift for your use.

    The home itself is as lovely as its surroundings. It is beautifully furnished and fully stocked with everything you need for a perfect vacation. We have you covered, from beach towels to blow-dryers, from coffee maker to blender.

    With its open floor plan, lots of windows and bright furniture Southern Dream feels airy and light and immediately puts you in vacation mode right upon entering of the property.

    The kitchen provides everything you could possibly need to spoil your loved ones with a special family dinner. You can be creative and prepare a feast without feeling you are missing out on the festivities thanks to the open floor plan. It also has a convenient pass-through window to the patio which allows you to easily hand dishes, meals and drinks to your family and friends.

    The ample master suite has a king size bed, a dresser and of course a flat screen TV. The attached master bathroom has a walk-in shower and a vanity with his and her sinks. There is also access to the pool area.

    Both guest bedrooms have a queen size bed and TVs.

    Villa Southern Dream is located in desireable SW Cape Coral at the end of a cul-de-sac. It is close to shopping, dining, and entertainment. About 5 minutes away by car are Tarpon Point and Cape Harbor. Both locations offer great restaurants, a little boardwalk, bars, shops and more. About ½ mile away there is also a nice park with a playground for the little ones to play and have fun.

This property is very clean and updated. The pictures represent the property very accurately. It is also nicely stocked with kitchen, pool and beach items. The location is extremely quiet, fairly private in the pool area and seemed very safe. The only drawback, and I'm digging deep here, is the lack of nearby shopping or restaurants. There are options nearby, but a short drive is required. Overall a great property.

This was the perfect house for our family of 4! The house is incredibly clean and well cared for. It had everything we needed. The kids loved fishing in the canal behind the house. We only wish we could have stayed longer. We would definitely stay here again!

This was our second year at Southern Dream and it was a wonderful experience. Andrea and Charlie are wonderful property managers and answer texts and emails in a fast timeframe. The pool on the canal provided us with watching lots of boat activity and lounging with family. Would highly recommend staying here.

House was amazing & exceeded our expectations. We really enjoyed our stay at this home. Check in was easy. There is someone always available should you need something. The home is very clean with comfortable beds. Great kitchen. We grilled and used the pool daily. Our two kids (ages 5, 8) really enjoyed swimming every day. They have pool toys available for them. We rented a boat and used the dock. Highly recommend this home. Southern Dreams villa exceeded our expectations. From the moment we walked in we all knew this was the perfect home for our family vacation. The house is beautifully appointed with high end details everywhere. Our special place was the large patio area surrounding the pool with a pretty dining area and 2 lounge areas. The house was lovely and the property manager answered our calls promptly. The pool area is the best part of the property - spacious and very nice and comfortable furniture. Our only issue was our kids & grandkids making noise in the pool - they were just having fun, but this is an extremely quiet neighborhood!

Spectacular 3 week vacation!

We vacationed 3 weeks at the Pelican. Our daughters (21, 24) loved the house (very relaxing) for grad school spring break. My husband and I rented a 26 ft boat to explore Sanibel, Captiva, and other islands. The canal from the house had easy access out to the river and to the gulf. So much to see and explore by boat, not to mention restaurants by boat. The fishing was terrific too. We caught several and brought them home to cook. The rooms were spread out nicely and comfortable. The pool was the perfect temperature. We would stay here again without hesitation and will recommend to friends. The grocery store is 5 min away. Loved our time here… didn’t want to go home.

Beautiful place, very clean and it had everything we needed. The maintenance company is on point! They were very responsive and helpful. The house is spacious, the neighborhood very quiet, and the view in the morning is amazing. I enjoyed doing the dishes while watching the boats pass by. Ft myers beach and sanibel are such a short drive away. We had always stayed at Fort myers beach condos but after this experience we prefer a house, the privacy you get and the space is worth the drive to the beach. We will definitely stay here again.
