"Salt Hotel is quaint and well maintained. The bed is so comfortable. This was my best night's sleep on the 9 day vacation. The one thing I missed was there not being a hairdryer or shampoo/conditioner. We stayed on a Tuesday, and there is not much to do in this town. We walked just a short way down the road to a pub where we ate with plastic cutlery and from paper plates."

"My husband and I loved our stay at the Pearl. The owner Ken gave us a tour of the house and gave us the history of it. Our room was cozy and bright and our morning meal was delicious. I highly recommend staying here!"

"Clean and comfortable little place. Nothing fancy but made a good home base for adventures, with a vibe like your auntie lets you stay in her cottage sometimes more than like someone is trying to be new and shiny to impress the internet. Homey, I guess you'd say.The house is right on the highway but with the windows closed we didn't hear any road noise, and we had deer in the yard one evening which was fun. Do be aware though it's a long kind of narrow driveway, so your options when pulling out are either to do a 7-point turn at the head of it (we managed with a minivan and it would be easy in a smaller car but if you have a big truck or something, probably no way), or back out onto a highway. It was fine for us but heads up if you're a less confident driver, just something to be aware of. Oh and if you're sensitive to scents, be aware whatever they clean with is scented and it HITS. Very noticeable upon walking in, and while we were out hiking I could still smell the detergent from the bedding in my hair and my son's. Better than not being clean of course but it was kind of intense."

"No A/C, didn't pay attention whether it had A/C or not. Working the TV's was a little problem, especially with the sound on the TV in living area. Overall very wonder place to stay. We were pleased."
