"The ocean view was spectacular! It is right in front of a hay stack in the ocean and the sunsets were wonderful.The property itself was okay. The flooring is cinder blocks in the main area and the cottage overall is vintage- much of it is still the original materials from when it was built in the early 1970’s."

"Great space! We enjoyed an extended weekend trip with 6 adults. A spacious kitchen with 2 sinks and all the cookware we needed. Plenty of dining and living room seating for everyone. Hot tub was well maintained and spacious, and all bedrooms were stocked and comfy. Bonus: an adventurous trail to the beach via the gate or a more direct walk from the road. I would definitely recommend!"

"We stayed at this house for a week in September with 8 adults while doing some salmon fishing. The house certainly met our needs. The kitchen had everything we could need. The sunset view was amazing and the host went over and beyond any expectations. I feel like the house is a little dated and they don’t tell you there’s a huge cliff down to the beach."

"I was hoping to find a really special place to be our home away from home for a couple days. I loved this place because it has a garage and being on the second floor, you really feel a sense of privacy. Everything was super clean and cozy and the kitchen is huge and stocked with anything you might need to cook. The washer dryer was nice to be able to go home with all our clothes clean and of course being so close to the beach was the main attraction. We ended up spending a lot of time at McPhillips Beach (maybe a 2 minute drive) because you can drive your vehicle right onto the beach. I have trouble walking on the beach so it was nice to be able to just sit in the back of our Subaru while my wife and sons played in the sand. The only minor issues I would mention is that while it is technically 5 minutes from the beach, you have to walk down a pretty narrow and busy road to get there and if you have young kids like us, you may end up deciding to just drive. Also, while our 2019 Subaru Outback did fit into the garage, it’s a pretty steep driveway (you definitely need a solid handbrake) and the clearance between the rear view mirrors and the garage opening was maybe 6 inches in either side. There is also a small space outside the garage but it’s still pretty tight and steep. Food wise, we’ve been out to this area many times and we love Taste of India 3 in Lincoln City. Taken all together, I’d still say this place is worthy of five stars. We hope to come back again."
