"Likely long winded but not tldr first of all before you get there do your grocery shopping. Otherwise the bayside market is available for absolute essentials.Being a pet friendly vrbo I expected the cottage to have a pet odor but there was no odor of pets at all!! The kitchen is absolutely basic and bare. No seasoning, salt, pepper —nothing. Bring your own seasoning if you plan to cook anything. The pots and pans are warped so they don’t sit flat on the cooktop.I did have issue with check in but this was a me problem, the day of your stay they send you two codes, make sure you’re looking at the correct one for the keypad.The yard does need some attention, weeds and other vegetation have taken over. However for being pet friendly it does the trick and is fully fenced.The gate does take a truck to get open, you have to lift the whole “door” after using the lever.The cups and plates were a little dirty/dusty but the dishwasher is handy and updated. The smaller bed does squeak a lot so if someone moves a lot at night it could wake them up. The king bed is VERY COMFORTABLE almost luxurious feeling. The shower feels absolutely AMAZING!! The host does provide good body wash, shampoo and conditioner. The tv/sound set up is a bit jenky we left it so the speakers on the tv are what worked (for the living room) All in all though it’s a great spot to hang your hat at the end of a busy vacation day :)"

"Good communication with the host. They were timely in their response.The house is located in a secluded area on Netarts Bay. The bay is muddy and the trail to the bay is a little wonky, but that was expected as it’s in a wooded area. You can see the bay through the trees and the big picture windows.The house is older, but worked for us. One of the reviews reported a musty smell in the lower level. It smelled like we were on the ocean. Being an older home this was not surprising. The house could have used more cleaning between families. Vacuuming the corners and under the couch cushions was needed. Otherwise the house was clean and ready to go.Two bedrooms with queen beds in the main house, with a family room and tv/game room. The bedrooms have their own bathrooms. The tv/game room has a large couch and futon. The family room has a couch and two chairs. No TV in the family room. The dining room seats 6. The kitchen is equipped with cooking and serving things, but they are older and mismatched. We did not cook, but we did do cold breakfasts and purchased paper plates and utensils so we didn’t have to do dishes after each meal. The casita, as they called it, has double bed, couch hide a bed, a kitchenette and a full bathroom. It was cute and simple.Overall this was a nice place and off the beaten path which is what we prefer."

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beautiful view and great access to the beach. Convenient to the small store and restuarants. I would suggest adding a double bed to the second bedroom rather than two sets of bunk beds.I noticed Some kids toys and litter around the front door area. Need more hand towels and wash cloths for the bathrooms. We only had one set. A little pricey for the age of the unit."

"the crab shack has its ups and downs but it has a beautiful view and lovely sunsets. the kitchen is pretty well stocked with stuff. I always take my pans I cook in a lot and my knifes. I like sharp knifes to peel potatoes. all in all it was good."

"This Netarts spot was absolute perfection! Watching the ocean views right from the house was unbeatable, and the place was sparkling clean from top to bottom. Having the elevator was a lifesaver for lugging our bags and for elderly parents.Loved all the thoughtful touches. We had a blast playing board games in the evenings, cooking in a beautiful kitchen, and winding down with a hot epsom salt bath. The hosts were amazing, super helpful, and made everything effortless. Can’t wait to come back!"
