If you want the ideal corner location in Cape May, welcome to 710 Kearney. With ample parking for 4 cars, this custom built Tudor style home on a double lot is one short block to the beach, the boardwalk promenade, Convention Hall and local restaurants. The Cape May mall, which is less than a five minute walk, is known for its shops and restaurants.

710 Kearney has been renovated and sleeps 14 (3 kings, one queen and six twins) and features 3.5 bathrooms, 2 fireplaces, 4 flat screen TV’s, central air/heat and WIFI internet access. The corner porch with its awnings and flowerboxes is the perfect gathering spot to relax and enjoy the ocean breeze after a day at the beach. The back deck, adjacent to the outside shower, comes equipped with a natural gas grill, perfect for barbequing. The kitchen – oh my – spacious and built for entertaining. It has a large walk-in pantry, double bowl stainless steel sinks, Corian countertops, dual Thermador ovens, 5 burner gas range, large refrigerator/freezer and a separate under counter ice machine in an adjacent bar area. The kitchen opens into the great room with new oak hardwood flooring, a dining area for 10 people, large flat screen TV, gas fireplace, mantle and a seating area for 8. The formal dining room has seating for 8 at the main table and an additional nook seating area for 6. The first floor has a den/office area and a large bathroom. There are 4 bedrooms and two full bathrooms on the second floor. The primary bedroom is HUGE! There is a king bed, Corian counter space with a built-in refrigerator which separates the twins bed area, a large walk-in closet and a flat screen TV. Perfect for a family in itself. The middle room has a queen bed, the front room has a king bed and seating area, and the corner room has 2 twins. The main bathroom has a Jacuzzi tub/shower and ample laundry area. The third floor has 2 bedrooms and a full bathroom. The large king bedroom (can also be 2 twins) has a separate seating area and the second bedroom has 2 twins.
There is easy access to a 2 car garage with plenty of space for beach chairs and coolers. Beach chairs and bikes are available but not guaranteed. There is a large side lot for outside activities. Linens and bath towels are not provided but can be rented from linenladies.com. Property is owner operated.

Well stocked kitchen, very roomy and plenty of room for 11 ladies to gather for morning coffee and meals. One of our favorite spots to relax and chat was the front porch.

This property is an older home that is in excellent condition. It is conveniently located within a block or so to Washington St mall, and the beach. We had our adult children and young grandchild with us and there was plenty of room for all. The kitchen is extremely well-appointed and having beach chairs and bikes available was fantastic. We highly recommend this home.

Our group of 8 high school and college friends had a wonderful stay. The house was clean and very well equipped. The location allowed us to walk to everything we wanted to do - shopping, restaurants/bars. John and LeeAnn were great hosts, meeting us at the house to check in and answering any questions throughout our stay. The large kitchen/dining/living area was great for gathering and sharing meals, playing games and watching movies. And there were plenty of rooms, and a porch and deck to retreat to if anyone wanted some quiet time. We hope to make staying at John and LeeAnn's home a tradition every year.

2nd time we stayed here and the house was perfect again for a family gathering. The large dinning/living area provided enough space to gather and reconnect and make memories sans screens. The front porch ended up being a favorite place for most as we are a family of readers. The closeness to the beach and city center was valuable as no one wants to be getting in and out of cars every time you want to do something as a group. The house provides places to gather as a large group or into smaller groups which helps when you want to have more personal conversations. We also took the bikes out. And the Shaws are always great hosts. Trip flew by.

Wonderful location

Spacious, well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and huge rooms with lots of outdoor space. Quick walk to Beach and most of the action in cape may. Nice to include beach toys, chairs and carts for a group, bikes a plus!

This was our second stay at this property and the Shaws once again were very welcoming, organized and accommodating. The house is immaculate, roomy (there were 10 of us) and within walking distance of downtown Cape May and the beach and promenade. Our top pick for future visits to the cape!

Beautiful house in Cape May!

A large well-appointed home just one block from the beach. We enjoyed a family getaway with our children and grandchildren. Eleven of us enjoyed plenty of room in this spacious and lovely home. Proximity to the beach and parking for four cars is an added bonus. Don't hesitate to book!!

Perfect for Us!

We were a family of nine adults, and everything about our stay was just right for us. The well-equipped house was roomy yet cozy, with lots of space for gathering together as a big group, or spreading out for privacy. The location was ideal for walking to the beach, local shops, and restaurants, and just minutes from hiking and birdwatching in the state park. Lee Ann was a very gracious and accommodating host. Our overall experience was delightful!

Big house, great location

The location was amazing! The beach, arcade, shops and restaurants were one block away. It was a few minute walk to Washington Street mall. The kitchen was well stocked and labeled with anything you could possibly need. The house also included everything needed for a day at the beach plus bikes! Plenty of TVs and dining spaces. The bedrooms were all spacious. The front porch was our favorite spot. Lee Ann was very accommodating and easy to communicate with.

Cape May Comfort

This Vrbo accommodation fit our needs perfectly. Our family members’ in attendance included an infant, toddlers between 2 and 4 years old, a teenager and parents and grandparents. We chose Cape May for two reasons: 1) to attend a wedding in nearby Stone Harbor; and 2) because of a enjoyable stay in Cape May two years previously. Lee Ann was extremely gracious and supportive throughout the entire experience. The house itself proved spacious and well-located for a long weekend stay at the Jersey Shore.

Great house for a family vacation

We had a great time staying at John and Lee Ann's place. The house is perfectly located - a close walk to the beach, near tons of great food options, and a cute shopping area (Washington Street Mall). The house itself is huge and very clean. There were 11 of us in total (6 adults and 5 kids under the age of 5) and it never felt crowded in the house. John and Lee Ann's house also has a ton of amenities like all the things you could need for the beach (cart, toys for kids, umbrellas, chairs, etc.) and their kitchen is fully stocked with all the things you would need to cook and feel at home. My personal favorite parts of the house were the back deck and the front patio. It was so nice to hang out with our family and lounge outside together. We would definitely recommend this house to anyone and will look forward to our next stay here!

Absolutely fabulous!

Our family has had several reunions in Cape May. This is the best house we have ever rented. The location is amazing -- both super close to the beach and the Mall. There is off street parking (in garage and driveway). The kitchen is very well appointed and organized. The owners have labeled all the cabinets so it is easy to find things. The floor plan, with a large kitchen that opens to a large dining and living area, is ideal for large gatherings. The kitchen also has a wine fridge and beverage ice maker -- making happy hour at home a breeze. The house was immaculate. Beds were comfortable. Everything was just perfect. Lee Ann and John made the entire check in and check out process smooth and easy and were very responsive to questions that we had. You can not go wrong renting this place.

We'd rent again

I rented this property for my extended family of 11 (including myself) in order to celebrate my late wife's birthday and celebrate her life.by spreading her ashes in the surf. We were only one block from the beach and close to the center of town. This house is very large and is WELL EQUIPPED. We woulddn't have asked for a better place. Each bedroom was good sized and we had more than enough beds for oour group. The downstairs was large and spacious. The kitchen had everytjhing your could want. There was a sepearge dining room with a good-sized table plus a breakfast nook that could seat six. There was also a large dining room table in the Great Room that seated all eleven of us. For those staying for a while and needing a place to work, there was a small room off the great groom with a computer desk and a secretary desk. The owners are very nice and accommodating. After unpacking we found that the WiFi system was not working. The woner immediatelly got on-line with Comcast and got us up and running. Can't recommend this place too highly!

This house is as described, great location, lots of space for entire family. Very clean. Kitchen fully stocked with all amenities you could ask for if you want to cook. A bbq out back as described. Owners very accommodating, had a slight issue which was immediately addressed and fixed. Would highly recommend staying at this beautiful home, which is so close to everything.

Great location and beautiful home!

From booking to checking in to our stay, we had an excellent experience! Lee Ann and John’s home has everything you need and is in the most ideal location. Just a couple blocks to the beach and short walk to town and so many great restaurants. The home was very clean and has been taken care of so well. It really has everything you need. We would definitely come back to stay and recommend it highly!
